Saleswise, i really dont think that Apache 180 would be in direct competition to p180....
Performancewise, it might be better....majorly cos of p180s incresed weight and fatter tyres....!Last edited by MG; 05-05-2009, 02:23 PM.2002 - Pulsar 150 Classic (Still owned)

I think the Apache 180 is a direct competition to the new P180/200. Performance wise and saleswise.Originally posted by Devilpulsarian View PostSaleswise, i really dont think that Apache 180 would be in direct competition to p180....

There's nothing in P180 that the RTR180 won't have. Yes, RTR180 might be bit costly but then I'll pay more for RTR180 anytime and get more performance including one of the best handling packages in India! I don't think I need to test ride any of these two bikes to tell which one would have better performance, it's gonna be RTR180 ofcourse! Moreover, P180's handling has become heavier after borrowing parts from P220, so I am really not excited about it irrespective of its price. The Chronicles of Motorcycling - The Man, The Machine and The Road

@Payeng: I would put only 2009 P180 against RTR180 for performance, so upcoming P200/P220 aren't important for me atleast
Well, value for money can mean different things for different people, I am sure some (including me) will consider RTR180 more value for money just 'cause of its better performance over the new P180. And I mean, come-on, RTR's lighter with fantastic handling to boot, there ain't no way that the P180 is gonna come shoulder to shoulder with RTR180 in performance!
So I m gonna be cool to shell out more money if I decide to go for RTR180
PS: I am much more interested in the RTR180 FI and the still-secret Honda 150

The A180 is not out yet. So let us wait and see. P200 can be considered as its price is gonna be close to the A180.Originally posted by Satellite.kid View Post@Payeng: I would put only 2009 P180 against RTR180 for performance, so upcoming P200/P220 aren't important for me atleast
