          I'll hold my opinion on the "smoothness" part. Similar positive comments about smoothness of P200 and P220 were made when these bikes were launched. However, over a period of time we know that this is not one of their strong points!

          Personally, smoothness of a bike becomes its characteristic when the bike is smooth under different driving conditions and more importantly the engine maintains its smoothness under different speeds, like Unicorn and Karizma.

          So, unless and until the new P180 has done that, I won't say it is quite smooth!

              i called up the pbk guys@ bangalore today.......they said the new P180 hasnt arrived yet...but he kept my contact details n said will inform me once it arrives.....most probably it will arrive with in a week or so....the price would be around 72k odd

                AFAIK P180 will be available through the routine dealerships not PBK showroom.

                    hooo!!!! so the new P200 dtsfi is a fully faired old 220 clone looker with rear disc brake also!!!!!! Then I can't wait to see what the new 220 would be.. Hmm Will it be a track weapon or an all new macho streetfighter
                    Definitly the ug4 P180 is a real VFM bike; so I'm happy that the competition is still there in the market even in these days of recession

                      P180 is priced at 68,000 in Pune on road. The riding position is quite good. The bike is taller geared as compared to my 220.
                      Overall a very good bike. But then again nothing new as such with design!

                        ^^Is 68k-onroad or exshowroom!! If its on-road then it's actually cheaper than the RTR-Fi and the FZ!!

                            Taller geared than the 220?? Wow, are you sure about this? Thats the only thing that interests me. That means better cruising ability. I hope its not an all new gearbox but just a new combination of front and rear sprockets, in which case, i can change the existing 220 sprockets on my 200, to the new 180's

                              this is intresting....

                              p180 costs less than RTR FI and the FZ.....by good 2500-3000 bucks.....

                              and it'll surely provide more thrills for sure....(i hate to say this as i'm die hard fan of the RTR.........)

                                considering this that older p180 ug3 costed approx 67k otr pune....

                                for all those BIG BRO's features just a 1k increse.....


                                and rtr fi is approx 75ks otr pune.....!
