Its obvious that the competetion has increase massively in the performance biking segment in India and frankly Bajaj alone as it is cannot hold on for long, unless they get in some foreign technology (Liquid cooling, twin spar frames, better performing bikes etc..).
Same is the case with TVS.
Once the super biggies (Honda, Bajaj, Suzuki etc) get into their own league in the market, Indian companies will really suffer unless collaboration happens. Think Bajaj will now have to bank on their KTM tie up to succeed in motorcycles now.
It is just a matter of time. Yamaha is on the way to revival in India, Honda has already captured the scooter segment, the economy bike segment and maybe they are just waiting in the motorcycle market.
Bajaj has to do something more than mix and match. Seriously technology and performance will be in demand in the future.
