I hope its not an all new gearbox but just a new combination of front and rear sprockets, in which case, i can change the existing 220 sprockets on my 200, to the new 180's
I mean the 180 pulls at much lesser rpm than my 220. But the top end is not like the 220.

The price is 68,5xx ~ 69000 on road.

    • Price quotes from Aakash Bajaj, Hosur.

      P150 UG4 - 68346
      P180 UG4 - 68500

I was surprised and asked whether it is the UG3's price for the 180. But he said No, it is the new price; that of the UG4's.

      GS150R - 68XXX
      Hunk - 63XXX
      CBZ X - 64XXX
      FZ-72XXX
      FZ -S - 75XXX

All prices on road(Hosur). Actually one of my friends looking for a 150. So checked out all quotations

      • ^^There is definitely some confusion. Here in Maharastra the difference between a new 150 & 180 is more than 4k.

Before that guy who quoted you takes the price back, people who are even thinking of a new bike at that range should go for it, because at that price, it is a steal.!

BTW, I think it is a misquote.

Yeah, that s what i was thinking.

Guess that he quoted the old UG3's price. Quite possible cos he had only the new 150 in stock. He mentioned that the prices have come down a bit though!

If you are this sure... why clarify right there and then?

That link also specifies that the prices are "BAJAJ REVISED PRICE LIST WILL EFFECT FROM 01-11-2008"

Hence, its not the latest pricelist for sure
