    Opening up a bit more.

BAJAJ is Launching the Upgraded 220 (or degraded.. whatever way you take it)... Showroom guys have no info about it.

Bike is Pulsar 220. 23rd June.

    And its NOT upgraded P200.

Adding to Payeng's post check the difference between the RTR-Refresh and RTR-Fi. To be frank the 220 uses the same Delphi Fi system as the RTR does. In fact the RTR-Fi makes do without a few sensors that the 220 has, like engine rollover sensor IIRC!

The CBF Stunner PGMFi costs 15K more than the carb version. But yes it does come with new color schemes ()
But its not that they took a normal stuner and then painted it again that justifies the higher cost like FZs . shouldnt it cost the same to them ?

Does the FI unit alone costs > 10k ? or are Bajaj cutting corners somewhere else as well to meet the price target of its rivals, if that is the case then we may see component failure issues as we had seen with the Gen-1 p-220 & the P-200..

Hence the suspension has been maintained soft and easy. For Indian roads. Very little feedback.

But Dada, stiffer suspension would mean a bad back considering the city riding infested with potholes.

And hence, Bajaj needs to actually look at the source of the problem i.e. The Frame!

Suspension changes will help to a certain extent only, unless and until Bajaj can genuinely do something about that, the Pulsar will remain only a straightline bike!

I hope with this rumored iteration of the 220 they have done atleast some tweaks to the dynamics of the bike!

May be this bit of post (collected from the P220 ownership) might throw some more light to this thread.

So i think waiting for this machine is in my destiny..but he told me to book it so that wen the bike is oficialy launched i get it the very next moment. And he also added that there's gona be black theme of 220 with some fairing changes since the present fairing is goin to be seen in 200, and also sm 2 bhp more and sm change in exhaust too..duno how true is that, but the botom line remains the same for me...ahem-ahem, 'tarik pe tarik, tarik pe tarik'
