    1. Can it be repaired through a non-probiking, if a guy from Probiking comes once a month? Will it work out?
P220 DTSFi's have been repaired like that...

    2. With a compression ratio of 11.2:1, What kind of petrol will it take for high revving? I don't have Speed93/ 97 in my city ...

    3. How road friendly and rough&tough is it? Any true comments would be great...

Man, I'm really missing the KTM Duke as I ask these questions ... But, ok let's wait for answers ...
Guys Reply please! For me, The price tag (3L+) is not the problem...

But, I have a "fear feeling" (not based on facts) about this bike's durability & real life usage. Kindly answer my questions in quote above ...

Get the Honda Jazz. Best of both worlds.
By the way,I dropped my plans of going for the P220 DTSi. With the ownership thread full of issues after issues I think I will give the Pulsar a miss. I have already started saving every penny for the Ninja.
I do still hope(dream) that the on-road price be under 3lakh.

                          • It is really good to know that superbikes such as these are seeing the light of day. Economically, it shows (albeit, to an extent) the financial strength and vitality of the country.

This is apparent from 2 key, interrelated points.
                            1. Auto Cos are willing to invest and take risks in hitherto unexplored segments.

                            2. Even in this (slowly improving) economy, money that remained uninvested, is slowly coming out into the open. (You can see the volumes increasing on Dalal Street over the last couple of months). Therefore, the propensity to spend is also increasing every day. A person who was planning to "settle" for a R15, will start thinking about the Ninja 250. Add the right kind of finance/service support and you'll see the converts.

Back to the Ninja 250- I believe the bike is going to sell in large numbers (well, not as many as a Pulsar), but, will definitely outsell any target that Bajaj has kept for itself. Suzuki/Yamaha have crossed those annual targets within a few months of launch of the Hayabusa and R1, haven't they?

                            My 0.02 rupees...

                              A controversial point raised.

R15 sells at about 1500 units/ month. And this bike is priced 3 times, with 2 times the power, and through-out the rev range too.

I'm damn sure that 200 units would be sold damn quick, as it doesn't have a substitute now...
But in house production requires continuous sales, and that's tough to happen in India. Its more of a "burst" sales market I predict. An explosion or 2, then its almost over.

I hope I'm wrong though ... and in house production happens in future.

OT: Somebody please help me with my query on post no. 421. And that new avatar is just for fun ... I mean no trouble.
