It seems that people living in BLR, PUNE should file a Public Interest Litigation (PIL) regarding Taxes asking them to provide good roads or stop charging hefty amount as taxes.

I don't think guys in BLR would be able to get it any soon. First reason being no Pro-Biking Showroom and by the time they have one here in BLR the first 60 would be gone.

There is something as Khivraj Bajaj which is the Pro Biking Showroom in BLR.

we do have a PBK Showroom maitained by Khivraj

i got it confirmed from them regarding the "NINJA" arrival in the city,
they were very reluctant to answer and got a not-so-trustable answer from one of the guys saying, the bookings will start next week(!)

Spoke to Probiking rep' in Mangalore. Ninja will be here in the next one week he says. Ex Showroom 2.69 Lac and Booking amount 40000rs.

Yup! And I sure didn't expect it to be Rs.2.80 lakhs INR here in Delhi!

Second that! And the best roads to boot - I now seriously regret having turned down a job transfer to Gurgaon last year!

I now have to live with a delayed 250R launch, dubious probiking showrooms, the highest sticker price and crappy roads/traffic, while all the other xbhpians are happily snapping up Ninja's from Delhi and Calcutta!

The only thing which works is the weather...

Wow...so many Xbhp guys booking/already booked.
I guess we are really putting our money where our mouth is. If Xbhp represents a fraction of India's bikers, and if these bikers show a similar interest in the Ninja then one could assume that Bajaj will reach their 1000-bikes sales target pretty early!

Hopefully this will inspire other cos. to bring in their 200s/250s/anything over 150s.

I know how Khivraj (Indiranagar and Kasturba Road) works and what they did when my colleague bought his Bike. Even had to report it to Higher Management in Bajaj and then got multiple aplogies from Khivraj team. They are a good example of how a Bad Dealer can make a Bad Day for the customer even if they are selling good Product. I heard that Indiranagar Showroom would be taken over by Bajaj and hence was thinking that it might delay the launch here in Bangalore.

I swear that this Khivraj dealership is the very worst thing to happen to Bajaj products. Add the fact that PBK service is exclusively Khivraj. The people there are RETARDED. Oil on the front disc (bloody POLISHING the disc), forgetting 1-2 screws near the gearshift, some godawful oil that does not last 2K kms and piles of other f*-ups, Khivraj is a probiking nightmare.

I absolutely agree with you, the weather in Bangalore is awesome. I am from Delhi and know how bad it can be for us on Bike in summers in Delhi.
