Both are fantastic Mehul. The ZMR is mouth watering as it has new looks and great features. The ZMA is a legend.

Even, the side fairing also derived from VFR, I guess.

And as for the RTMI, apart from Glamour, ANHC and Jaaz cars also have the same feature. Nothing yet in bikes from HMSI.

        • I fail to understand the use of an RTMI that too which shows erratic reading.

U give a "premium sports bike" and a "mileage indicator" with it .

Will u ride and concentrate on the road or keep looking at oh look so much mileage im gettin.
to me its a useless feature.

          My personal opinion .

          • Santoosh, it is not that you always look at it. It at least, lets you know, when you are riding constantly at some speed, how much the mileage you are getting. Suppose, if you are riding at 80 kmph constantly on the highway, you would get to know how much fuel it is going at those speeds and at different RPMs.

Even the HOnda cars have that.

            • when u ride @ 80kmph it shows how much u would get . But it real time road conditions and riding , with throttle and braking , the fuel economy returned is never close to what the RTMI claims.

Give this feature to a guy who rides a splendor + - * or whatever and make him happy or rather fool him.

Not on this bike. Its not realistic

when a zma is kept over 6200 rpm constantly , the mileage takes a toss .
PKM ended up gettin 25kmpl :-)

              • It is not accurate because, you look at overall mileage and look at one point of riding and compare. You have to take average of different readings in different conditions. Remember, RTMI would help you by guiding you to derive a mileage at different riding conditions. It would help you once you know how much fuel the bike is taking at different riding conditions. They are not values, but you can get the average.

                • Santoosh: For your info, even the new Honda Civic has a RTMI now.

Its just a great addition to the already existing features on the speedo!

Having a RTMI makes one derive how much the bikes returning so that the range can be calculated and distance pre sorted in mind! Also the new speedo runs on the magnetic sensor, so calculations will be more or less true or close to approximate!

Whizzkid, you will not get the tyre in market so soon. You may have to wait for another 6 months at least.

ZMA-R on highway - 40 kmpl* (constant 120 kmph on speedo, fukk the error)

ZMA-R in city - 25-30 kmpl* (in Mumbai traffic)

                        When kept n maintained well.

Most owners will agree to these figures.

Oye Spidy, that is a very less figure. 30-35 kmpl in city is apt. In fact, I have been getting the same in the city traffic. Are you sure it is not a typo?

Also, at speeds above 120 kmph, I get only around 32-33 kmpl only.
