mmm..interesting. I was thinking on similar lines. The bulkiness may be visibly reduced and replaced with sharper lines. BTW the image posted by 'Synn' is looking pretty cool.Originally posted by 46wannabe View PostI think the selected portions of the fairing should have been finished off in black matte to give some relief to the large painted surface area of the said part. Besides that, it would also up the aggressive quotient of the front end.
What say?
Just my opnion.

It seems hero honda has some other plans as it has not done anything as expected, may be its done on purpose as they dont want to give anything new to the bikers community, to be frank i was seriously thinking of upgrading to something more than the old karizma from my 100cc splendor but i am hugely disappointed, and i feel its better to buy a second hand karizma which was from the first batch before the R stickering as that was really a beautiful bike.
I feel may be in next 6 months the market will be taken over by the R15 and FZ16 as R15 has everything i feel except it looks small, but still i say at the price at what new karizma with FI is launched i think the R15 is the clear winner as in terms of mileage and all terms it stands close to the karizma today.
Here pulsar 220 has a advantage and that will sure win the market, but bajaj should not suddenly stop using the existing engine and try something new, as it always does instead if bajaj can go on refining the engine than there will be no bike in india which can touch to the P220.
They should follow the same strategy which maruti had followed in case of zen, and it came out as one of the best cars, bajaj was the best in scoooters and i think if it can be the best again in power bikes also

What do you have to say about the mileage indicator on a CBR 954? I just consider it as a feature to improve efficiency and should not be associated with 'mileage'. All the expensive cars have it, not because the driver cares about 'mileage' in particular.Originally posted by santoosh View PostI fail to understand the use of an RTMI that too which shows erratic reading.
U give a "premium sports bike" and a "mileage indicator" with it .
Will u ride and concentrate on the road or keep looking at oh look so much mileage im gettin.
to me its a useless feature.
My personal opinion .

I think there is an inverse relation to refinement & power given the same engine. You want more power, you have to sacrifice on refinement and vice versa. Hence Bajaj are generally more powerful with less refinement as oppose to honda. Even when you compare Honda Unicorn engine with that of CBZ & Hunk which are using the same engine, CBZ & Hunk has lost the refinement of the unicorn for more power. Bajaj can probably make the Pulsar more refine but their power has to come down and thats perhaps is not their objective.Originally posted by shrinathrao View Post..... instead if bajaj can go on refining the engine than there will be no bike in india which can touch to the P220.
This is not to say, refinement is not possible for the same output. They will have to come at a greater price tag.

synn, the bike looks good from this angle, though didn't like the position of the number plateOriginally posted by Synn View PostFriend of mine sent me this image which makes the bike look quite decent. The tail section is a bit too long compared to the front for my liking, but overall, the lines flow more cohesively than say, in a P220.Socha Toh Locha.

Did anybody notice the pic? The fairing mounted rearview mirrors are missing. Absence of RVMs is giving a good look (purely my opinion).
