Hmm i mean to do a package upgrade.. like both feature wise. and top whack wise...Originally posted by myg124 View PostI dont get it, are you upgrading from the p200 for a bike which has a higher top whack or some other characteristics???

hmm if the new ZMR is 126Top end
then i m disaapointed now..How will this beat p220.
But if i have 18 ps in my p200 then upgrading or better put downgrading to 17.6 ps doesn't seem to be a nice option. Although goodies are there but i think on road, p200 can give a tough fight to ZMR , wat say all.. What does the senior segment say.. in a drag, who beats who..
The lack of power and top-whack has made me cross this option off my probables list.
will wait for 250 segment only.
Only thing Gods envy of mortals is that they ride.

in city i get 35-38kmpl easily...and in highway with a constant speed of 100-110kmph i get around 43kmpl easily!!!.....and if the current Fi engine is much more refined and eco friendly it can give the best figures in Mileage in its class!!!sigpic

this Karizma is cool
looks great.............the daddy of big (INDIAN made)bikes is back.
but a question................this report is in which issue of Bike India??
september or october??
P.S. also think of the radical change in this market.
Pulsar 220 is widout Fi now,RTR 180 is not an Fi,Only R15 is an Fi and now Karizma joins it.So two bikes degraded and two bikes upgraded in case of Fueling system technology

think again bro, each fi had its own set of faults, +indian fuel +indian environment +indian service style +indian maintenance style, ya can count all those caught fire cases. again such problems and brand value fades.
jus think if any given r15 (liquid cooled) can catch fire with a vent blocked(as they said) what can we expect from other full fairing ones?
apart from that, most of the performance seekers cant afford, buy good tools to mess with fuel injection unit. i have seen several cases where faulty units were changed by authorized service centers, even tey cant deliver good performance.
last but not least, carb units are easy to tune/service then fi ones.
also carbs give better performance, if not mileage.

On paper you only know how much power is developed by the engine at the crankcase.
It does not tell you how much of that power is efficiently delivered to the wheels (i.e. wheel horse power)
To get the wheel horse power you will need a dyno and then you will know why HONDA or YAMAHA etc. bikes are less on paper ratings but rocks on road.
tc . ....
FI engines are anyday better den carburettor feeded engines yaar(both power and mileage)Originally posted by insane_x97 View Postthink again bro, each fi had its own set of faults, +indian fuel +indian environment +indian service style +indian maintenance style, ya can count all those caught fire cases. again such problems and brand value fades.

What are you saying ?
The indian manufacturers are not skilled enough to install and tune fuel injectors into an engine, both of which are gifted from honda.
Hero honda must stick to carburettors till they have skilled people to look after FI .As the old saying is :
JISKA KAM USSEE KO SAAJAY ! !The Automotive batteries are designed to work best in a typical short start-stop fashion.
So to increase the life of your automobile battery, blow the horn and flash the pass light in a quick start stop fashion instead of a conitnuous long horn blow or flash light continuous on!!
And obviously don't stretch the self start far too long.
