Yup! it can be dangerous. But I guess you can't have them both at the same time. Most efforts for aerodynamic are directed towards chanelling the wind efficiently from front to rear with minimal drag, and not from the side to side. Even formula 1 cars which is the epitome in aerodynamics have problems with crosswinds. The bottomline is, you want a crosswind friendly bike, your bike wont be very efficient aerodynamically in straightline at high speed and vice versa. Or al least thats what I think.Originally posted by ravi@17bhp View PostIf the bike is prone to more crosswinds, then it is very dangerous at higher speeds on highways. HH must have done something to counter the corsswinds, and it is my wild guess.

Yes I know, but I would still rate our 100-125 cc bikes as more appealing and better looking than those ones in SE Asia. Malaysia's motorsport is way ahead as they have GP circuits, double per capita income, import duty is not that demotivating. Slower but India will indeed catch them up.Originally posted by kaynmantis View PostAgreed, expectation can sometimes play a big role, and looks are a matter of taste. But surely you must be aware that bikes sold in Thailand, Malaysia & other SE markets are not much different from India where 100 to 125 cc rules the road. In fact in those countries, they are having more options especially in Malaysia where motorsports is way ahead.
