This was the most disappointing news for the day! The specs made me mad. Just give us more power!! Anybody... just some more power. Everybody is making a joke of a 220CC engine ..... lending power to beggars or what??
The front looks like shit... who ever is talking about why its heavy... you have the answer staring back at your face. The first thing i did on my ZMA was to pull of the engine cover all that fiber and the metal frame holding it.... more junk weight off the bike.
The front brakes have not changed have they. Are they the same crap ones that come with the ZMA?? If not, this would be first on my shopping list.... lust loved the way my pulasr 180 stopped and i always have a vomit inducing feeling while slowing down to negotiate a speed braker on the ZMA.
The console is ok but having a digital rmp meter is not the way to go. I still would love a analog rpm meter its very functional (no matter if its day or night). They just got this thing in to save money i'm sure... its definitely not for enhancing the looks.
The only good thing is HH going the same way as Bajaj in getting tubeless tyres. Would love to have them.
Never cared about a oil cooler since ZMA did not require one in the first place. Never cared about a Fi since the carb was already tuned to make the engine butter smooth on the ZMA (funny part is i have a big problem with the carb right now... but i still swear by it).

I guess 50-60 will do touring n others will be just Posers...Originally posted by rennycornelius View Postnow tell me what thos open and closed chain thing got to do with the touring unless and untill you're into serious bad muddy roads????
and how many people will seriously do touring on ZMR tell me the num outta 100....
Even the normal dust / rains / pebbles / sand / etc. /etc. causes lotsa problem while touring, better to keep ur chain cover rather than risking n inviting unwanted waste of time...
Man this is an ELEPHANTA, we are talking about a practical ZMR (a Bike indeed)Originally posted by amandeepkamboj19 View Postlook at this karizma fairing!!

More people are interested in the tyres of the bike.. so that they can get it on their bike !!
And now.. .with ZMR... HH doesn't seem to be interested in making it a sport bike but a tourer.. thats y they corrected the speedo
added Fi... and gave tubeless tyres !!
So... now.. I think 220 carb and zmr are 2 different categories !!

That fairing looks better than... the ZMR !! atleast it looks more made for, macho, and proper fit in... and not like a fat belly popping out...

you have my vote spidey!
Mods: where are you?? This is just a ZMR thread, not a ZMR bashing thread...some guys are spinning out of control it seems. I understand debating and chatting is one thing and the latter the other.

Agreed about the fitting man, but you think a local mod/job knows anything about aerodynamics? I can bet that this thing cant cross a 100 kmph mark with all that on it. And people here talk about low speed n no bhp upgrade. Look at that bike its a total degraded bike just meant for posergiri, though looks good, I must agree to that.Originally posted by thedarklegend7 View PostThat fairing looks better than... the ZMR !! atleast it looks more made for, macho, and proper fit in... and not like a fat belly popping out...

My views on this bike !!!
can I say something about this bike??? thanx...
totally my views, don't wanna offend anyone here...
so we can call this bike Karizma-Fi...
with all type of sensors
and rear disc brake, borrowed or should I say 'copied' pearl white paint scheme and golden front shock absorbers from RTR 180
, headlight looks like suzuki GS150R
. front fairing and ZMR looks like Hayabusa's, the rear portion same as Karizma-R...
THE ONLY UNIQUE thing
which I found is its Digital speedo...looks very cool and HH's hard work shows in it with RTMI (Racing Throttle Mission Impossible)...
all and all, pay above 1 lac for this new tourer bike from Hero Honda which have 223cc Engine with 17.6bhp... don't u dare to look at R15 now...

^^duh..even our apaches have borrowed parts from A150!!!
so dont complain on this front!!
I think I would reserve my comments untill I test ride it!!!
I am in sort of dilemma coz ppl complaining here are mostly apache owners and I am too but I ve owned Zma before!!
No OTs just sayin in friendly manner.

the con i am personally finding is that when i m paying 91k i was expecting tire size to be 120 atleast to the back.cause with the fairing, the tire profile starts to look incomplete.
if you want to say that i can add them after then i dont get the point.91k+some 3k for tires??the current scenario looking at pulsar and fazer 120 is becoming a standard it seems.
my personal view..regarding the tire size.if they give it stock then the bike will look nice.
console looks neat.and i dont get what bajaj people are thinking..why cant they add a watch to the console??
anvancythere are no stupid questions.
but there are stupid people.
