  • Worrisome: No mistake!!! 220s are oil cooled !

Ok.... too much of confusion with similar looking bikes. 200, 220S, 180, 220 Fi, 220 Si

But guys, Bajaj may have actually done the trick! Understand that they have the common people in mind not us Consumer now has a much larger product to choose from! Others might come up with some knee-jerk reactions

And why single out Bajaj. Yamaha has done it too FZ, FZs, Fazer !

    • What an Idea Sirjee

Now BAL will come up with 30 new variants of pulsar for common people

Some changes in the new bikes:

      1st New coloured mud guard
      2nd White Alloys
      3rd Black Number Plate
      4th Red Coloured tyres

      I can go on...

I might have misunderstood...but as far as I know at the moment we only have options of pulsar 135, 150,180,220 and the 220s(soon to come).
if your talking about the models on the road....i dont think bajaj has to think about it...i mean they would have spares and the support required for all the models.
as long as they are clear about their product portfolio...they know they can clear out customer doubts (incase they get confused)
Just because you haven't seen it doesnt mean its impossible...expect the unexpected.

        • P220 had its name for its Projector Headlights....Infact the only Projector Headlighted Bike in India ....
I dont think why bajaj thinks in different Ways...

This model looks exactly like the P200.....
It would be more better if they can fit the Projector Lights for this naked 220 too...

135 - 150 - 180 - 200 - 220 im not sure how much more is still available in the Pulsar family to fill the gaps.....

                • One more difference

I reckon there is one more difference between the 220 DTSi F and 200 S that is being overlooked, its the tires.
The faired bike comes with IRC tires and the 220S, atleast the ones in the pictures has MRF rubber.
All riders fall; some get back on, some don't, some can't...

                  • this is bad, now even half the Bikers wont be able to spot the differences between pulsar siblings from a distance.

                    • All I believe in is that at 3K less and some kilos shed off, it is not only good VFM but would turn out to be a superb tourer. Me, for instance, who is not bothered by the looks. And if you are not into night riding, projectors wont matter much!

But yes, if you are a night rider, then there is a considerable difference!

All an all, a good move by Bajaj

Thats strange because I had visit PBK's in 2 cities last month and all the 220's they had were shod with IRC rubber.

Anyways, its not such a big deal as the MRF tires are of soft compound, similar to R15's.

                              cheers

That is due to the strike/shortage of MRF, due to which, for a small time period, 220s and 180s were being shod with IRC and later, TVS Eurogrip tyres.

Apparently the MRF guys got their act together so now all pulsars are back to Zappers.
