as far i have noticed this is 2nd time ur making this statement , in india .. money matters most ..as most ppl won;t want to buy bike with 1000CC and that too with 10+ lack of rupees, its no way feasible, a good 200/250cc bike with decent price can satisfy large amount of population.

@mike_usa... there are lot of guys including me who are keeping it as a dream for the 1000+cc bikes... as for me those bikes are light years ahead in terms of the affordability factor/cost...
so we can only dream for an affordable 250-300cc bike... When i read your signature i was like Wowww... what machines man...

@Binoy/@nagoo:guys im workin in india rite now i see younsters in my office who take home 40k/120k per month and this is avg-take home packages all over india!! i spoke to hd in hyd and they say if u buy a hd/superbike in india u need to pay 25%-40% up front and rest u can take finace with a emi of 15k-20k per month so i think most guys can buy the 1000cc+ bike if they want too but i dont knw why they dont live life for today not for tomrw.

wow... I need to move to Hyderabad.

the EMIs for the Ninja250 work out to 13grand a month.
Harleys/Superbikes are cheap in Hyderabad.
those don't seem like accurate figures.

and 40K/120K per month is definitely NOT the average take home package all over India!

@satyenpoojary/@Binoy/@xionite: guys when i mean avg-salary in india its for "IT sector" 40k/120k. i work for "CA" its a american firm but i knw that wipro/infosys/satyam-mahindra etc... pay similar payouts!!! so u do the math!!????

@xionite:buddy u need to pay 40% up front and the remainin 60% is finace!!!???? so u pay 20k-25k emi for 60% of finace so u do the math.
