Crazy enough product: Yes

Priced Well: NO!!

PS: P220 DTSi trounces R15 everywhere except for may be on race tracks. Now this is what i would call a Well priced-Crazy product!!

Dude R15 is not cheap...But that doesn't mean its pricing is unreasonable ... The quality and reliability of this perfect track tool is not an unknown fact.... As a whole package what option do have for that price range.... I can't deny the fact Pulsar is more powerful but again R15 is much better machine than 220....

guys r15 is crap in front of the uk ver "r125" i rode both r125/r15 and i dont get it r125 is a pure race bike with lots of power but r15 with 25cc more than the r125 but still it lags in power/performance period. i think the best 125cc race bike's r "RS-125" and "r125" and i dont understand why yamaha did not get this bike here

Whats the use if no one is ready to belt out 1.2lacs on a 21PS bike ???
People here get 21PS for 78000 bucks(Pulsar 220F).......I see nothing practical in buying this machine,unless Yamaha tweaks it for making around 25-27bhp,which I think,wont happen without a good turbo induction on the basic construct of this engine.

Instead,giving all these speculations a rest,I can see the current Fazer getting revamped with a higher cc engine than the current FZ16 engine which it runs......that would be better even if it costs around 80,000bucks then.

back in 2004 when the comet was launched it had 27bhp and costed decent compared to the ninja now, i know the ninja is advanced but people did not appreciate the V-TWIN that much just cause it was korean and now ninja is actually selling like hot cakes. 6yrs have passed and we are still in the 250cc segment waiting for bajaj to give us a 25bhp bike which costs 1.5akhs people pay 1.15lakhs for a 17bhp R15 but did not appreciate a 27bhp V-TWIN costing 1.80lakhs 6yrs back. after 6yrs now and we are still striving for a performance bike which is affordalble it's like we have paused.
I loved my comet have spent memorable moments with it but had to part with it 2yrs back since parts were becoming a pain i really miss it.
Given a choice between a 1.80Lakh Comet and a 2.90lakh Ninja i would still choose the comet simply cause of the character of the bike the feel of riding a V-TWIN is not even comparable to a inline two.
I'm not trying to prove anything here just wrote what i felt and yes it is OT but our expectations are being played with because at the end of the day we dont get a decent all rounder 250cc bike which is affordable.

tvs is ready with their revamped rtr code named rtr hyper edge. the bike is due for launch by september 10th. rtr badly needed a revamp and it was long overdue hooligans time to rejoice once again

The Current Fazer even if its 90,000 with a descent 200-250 cc engine with atleast 21 bhp this is a bike which i like to buy. will be simply awesome, when i ride my FZ16 around the city, i never felt any other bike to this much easy to ride... but on my monthly visits to-fro my office to home my bike always says to me, sorry pal i am not really a kind of person you looks for when i try to push her hard...

intially there was a lot of talk of kawasaki 650-r coming to india and at a competitive prize but all these have died down.i am just hoping that it comes to india it will be a ideal bike for indian conditions. is there any news of its coming and when. because when ninja 250 was to be released the rumour was going on since 2 years after auto expo of 2008. but at this expo bajaj paricipation was as an after thought so we cant judge from that.

These rumors are the most annoying, because you badly want to know whats gonna happen, yet no one is true to believe, and and the end, nothing happens..

In the Orkut CBZ Community, hot news is that a new, revamped CBZ is getting ready in the back stage. Expectations are sky high. The thread starter is damn sure about it, as he heard it right from the show room people [ ] and says that the bike is all set to be launched by this Diwali. In fact, I want this to be true like anything, and if it does, strongly suspect it to be an all new sticker job to the bike in the world-famous Hero Honda way and nothing else.

Anybody got any clue in this regard...?

Revamped version of pulsar line-up in 2011

GUYS IN A RECENT INTERVIEW WID BSMOTORING.COM, BAJAJ AUTO'S MD, Mr.RAJIV BAJAJ SAID THE BELOW MENTIONED....

The MD said Bajaj was planning to re-launch scooters in the future, considering the growing market in this segment. It would also launch a new model of its Pulsar motorcycle next year, with a completely new look, advanced engine and advanced technology.
