The duties go upto 47-50% on a CKD. there are additional duties, excise, cess, etc.

and not to forget the homologation charges that needs to be paid to ARAI for motorcycles under 800cc.

bajaj will makeup for all these charges.

But the ZX-6R wont be more than 7.5 ex-showroom. so that comes to around 8.75-9 akh on road.

its in bangalore.. the Khivraj motors.. the chief engineer said he got the news when he had a sit down with their mngt team.. Buddy, i dont work there to know from which mngt team it came from..
