i thought of this move but which wil be messy move & more over bajaj is doing a parts bin similarisation which i don't like(personally) to be done with this bike too............Originally posted by Ram1883 View PostUpgrading the Avenger to the 220cc pulsar mill would be a good move right? Or is there something I'm missing, the reason for which Bajaj is not doing this?
lets have unique cruiser & a able cruiser to do real long distance........

I seriously do not know what to say to these amateurish reports...Originally posted by surya220 View PostHi Guyz.. Bajaj is developing a new High Revving engine.. Possibly a 4-Valve Single or a Parallel Twin.. Based on DATA which i can't reveal here, i suspect it to be a 150 or 250-300cc.. But this will in all probability take a year's time.. I know this cause of my nature of work.. But i can give you one hint.. Its gonna be THE smoothest engine ever by Bajaj, so much so that a 5-Letter Japanese Company will have a tough time keeping up..
Nor is this guy sure of cc, nor is he sure of cylinders, but he is sure about the smoothness....

One of the bikes to be launched will be between 150-600 cc, anywhere between 1-4 cylinders and will cost between Rs. 50,000 and 9 lakhs.
Lol.

Change your ATTITUDE guys..
@ALL: Guys, pl stop UNDER-RATING people for speculations..
Remember that this thread is called THE SPECULATION THREAD.. I Know this FACT about the new bike because i work in one of the companies that develop engine parts for the New Upcoming Bajaj Bikes..
SO, based on my work experience, and PAST experience with Bajaj, i can tell one thing.. The STANDARDS & SPECIFICATIONS of the parts are, well.., BETTER than any other Indian made Japanese Bikes that i've seen so far.. And, that includes the UNICORN, which is BY FAR the smoothest motor in India.. I can't be any more NON-SPECIFIC about this.. I SPECULATED based on my experience.. So, those of you who laugh your ass off now can keep on doing so, till Bajaj launches such a bike n u all guys get Queuing to book that bike at the showroom..
SORRY for this post Guyz and MODS, but i just couldn't stand the RIDICULE by some SENIOR MEMBERS who think they KNOW IT ALL..
sigpicMy IBA SS delayed.. Damn.. ;-(

Take it easy bro..
actually most of us have had so many "LSD's: Lame Speculations and Disappointment's (Eg: Yamaha R125 being launched in India for 90K, Ninja 250R to be available for 1.5 lakhs, RTR 220 so on and so forth..) that any speculation now seems like another joke.
If what you are stating is really true, then I should start saving up for my 3 year old P220 replacement (hopefully).

Word is out from Bajaj!! Zx6r
Hi everyone,

Just got a news today from one of my friends working in Bajaj Pro-biking.
I am not sure how many would have been waiting for this news, the stunning Zx6r is most probably launching in India this Dec.
The bike again comes as CKD (just like Ninja250r) which will be assmebled in their Chakan plant in Pune. The estimated price is 6.5 lakhs.
