today i went to a tvs showroom to testdrive rtr180....after that i asked the salesguy about the tvs 2xx bike rumour..he said he had heard the showroom MD mention about the bike...he took me to the MD and enquired again..that fellow said its going to be a 200cc bike, however will take more than 3 - 5 mths to come...he also said the bike might not look very different although there will be some changes....i am both excited and disappointed...

excited part.........looks different WOWOriginally posted by Aravind View Posti am both excited and disappointed...

disappointed part.......only 200 !!!! what the hell.......where did the expected 50cc more go???

Sorry TVS no thanks for following Bajaj

Wonderful Aravind for sharing your mind

But let me add something to this.........a DOHC 200cc from TVS can smoke some 250 single easily and might be on par with Ninja.....rest I leave it to greatly expected speculations

Dont kill me--just speculating over what Willy Wonka and the Chocolate factory goes on at TVS racing RD

They already have a 185cc DOHC oil-cooled engine in one of their racing machines!!
TVS is trying to figure out which design to go for:An all out new design or carrying the Apache lineage. That's it.

seeing how rtr180 performs its true their a 200c will definitely make up for that extra 20cc it lacks compared to the competition...also about the looks, though it will be good if its new, it wont be bad either if its in the same line as its siblings but definitely needs some substantial addition/makeover to differentiate it from the pack...tvs should not emulate bajaj in this aspect also.....
thats good...but i hope they figure out soon and dont make us wait longOriginally Posted by chicane1879

I might not be an insider like you people, but I monitor TVS racing very closely.....since I love my Shogun way too much....

I bet TVS can easily be Indian Ducatis but they need to grow out of Bajaj strategy, something radical is better than lauching upgrades and cc bumps now and then.......
