NOT TRUE.
I visited the hosur plant of TVS. Apache RTR 2XX (the person wouldnt even reveal the cc but acknowledged its 200 above) is in its FINAL design stages. it would take anywhere from 6months to a year for its release apparently. (i think he was trying to put me off cause logically 1year is way too long for a 2XX launch since bajaj would be eating away the market with its P220)

Diwali launch is more likely and i wish they have something 'fresh' in terms of design!!

This is the first time am posting but i have been closly following this forum.

On the below link there is a image of an Apache bike with monoshocks being tested near Hosur. Any idea about it. Any speculations !!!!!!!

Guys guys listen. There's been enough speculation about RTR2XX but let me get this straight even when RTR180 was being launched ppl said that it would have half fairing , more than 20ps etc etc and then after the spy pics of 180(in yellow) surfaced and ppl like me said that it was a photoshop job(hehe lol) but it was for real. Don't except some radical changes in appearance coz the Apache series share parts.(A150 and RTR hav same parts xcpt few changes)...So If my theory works the bike would gonna be RTR200 and ~20Ps not more than that!

We know it is tough for an Indian company to bring a completely new product.

i ll shave my head bald if tvs launches a 200/250 cc with 30ps of power. it definitely will be less than 24ps. afterall a tvs is a tvs not a yamaha or honda so even if someone gives me a tvs200 for free i wont take it .is there no other news apart from this boring rtr stuff.what about honda 250?i think its time to rename this thread as rtr speculation thread.

a completely new design is not a possibility since its going to be an apache rtr and siblings should resemble...hope they make some distinct visual differences so that we can identify them at first glance before asking their name and DOB...
i am more excited about the performance that is on offer..let it be a 200 or 220 or 250 with 20 or 21bhp whatever...its an apache and its going to be lot more crazy..how much is the surprise..good or better but not bad for sure..
but WHEN is the big bother...1 year is a long time..seems by the time they release the bike bajaj is going to be out with p220UG10...and if yamaha also jumps into competition its going to be tuffffer... ..TVS...WHEN ARE YOU RELEASING THE DAMN BIKE....its now or never

TVS had never confirmed about any big launch anywhere.Even Mr. H.S Goindi mentioned about the same thing in one press-release couple of months ago.Even my one and only source strongly declined the presence of any such machine due for launch anytime soon. But hold on, some works are going on the current RTR series of bikes and they will appear much sooner.
