This cannot be a Vixion as the Yamaha is a complete bike..........and this pic over here looks like alot of parts have to be put together for its complete look and package.

Biker Voodoo YAMAHA FZ150i – FIRST FUEL INJECTED MOTORCYCLE TO BE LAUNCHED IN MALAYSIA
New fuel-injected FZ150i bike from yamaha. - Singapore Bikes Forums

Quoting from the article where the same bike is shown.
Hong Leong Yamaha also displayed a concept bike (previously exhibited as the V-Ixion concept in Indonesia) at their launch to the motoring media and dealers in Genting Highlands.
                If it's a TVS(which it isnt),then it's a bloody good copy.

No point in bringing a FZ150i when FZ16(and as far as FZ16 goes it far more better than FZ150i lookwise) has really got the market to itself........the pic by Chicane is directed towards launch speculation for India. It can be the Yamaha SZ........but thats got only 10% possibility as we have already seen the SZ concept in completion. And with probable rear disc and so much of parts in its naked look,it seems a huge one for a 150.Ok,it may also be a Yamaha 250.But I will speculate its nothing less than a 200 or a 230 from its size, and its good enough for a 250cc.

That remains now is TVS.......because TVS is know for good redesign of radical designs in existing international markets. And when this would be complete it would look way different.By The Way.....has anyone noticed the RTR like red circumference of the bike's alloys.

                    • As nightwing pointed out, it is indeed the Vixion Concept. How about Yamaha launching it with a spruced up R15's mill or a 180-200cc block. It would surely work wonders for the company.

A speculation from the wildest corners of the galaxy.
                        Ok its a Yamaha,I accept.
So we had the FZ16 from FZ1, R15 from R1.........

So how about a mini Vmax with 165 cc or 200cc engine ???? But these are all expectations and are not speculations

                        • Saw pics of a 150cc bike by yamaha. Conventional looking, with twin shock rear, styling like the gladiator, but slightly more radical. Engine of the FZ series.

Will come with option of disc and drum. pricing is going to be highly competitive ~ 50k mark to compete with the 150cc segment well.

                          launch in august.

remember you read it here first. ( Since i saw the pics myself!!! )

Also a scooter planned out for diwali. But no pics on that.

YES Yamaha ............way to go !!!!!
This thing will really knock hard ,very hard on the Pulsar135LS and Discover 150 both.!!!!!
Now Yamaha is really coming up.......after this the 165cc mill of tested Gladiator sports wont be a far fetched dream.

Yamaha Scooter !!! Wow.At last the girls will have something powerful other than the style as always
Thanks JD666...you are the Yamaha man.

But,JD666 does this bike looks like the SZ concept displayed???
what assumption can be made of about its kerb weight and also about the handlebars, are they low set or high set ??????Seating position - Mundane commuter like as in Discover 150 or the all rounder type as in Unicorn ????

                            • ^^ it looks like a beefed up gladiator to be honest. and handlebars looked to be conventional ( no clip ons ), the engine is instantly identified as a FZ unit. And no kick as well. There are small scoops on the side of the tank. And a bikini fairing on the headlight. I saw a side profile, and the model i saw was red and silver in color with a front drum, black alloys.

It does look like the SZ concept, but the SZ concept was a detuned 135cc mill of the FZ.

Yes i agree this will be quite an all rounder to take the discover 150, unicorn, cbz extreme, pulsar 150. The pricing will/should be the stealer. yamaha quality, great performance from the 153cc mill, and 50k price for the base model ( drum ).

If that is so..........then what becomes of the 135cc mill of the SZ......scrapped out ????
To me basically it seems, the 150cc of FZ would be a better than the 135cc-for a company like Yamaha,135cc is not needed FZ is costly because of its dynamics and looks,a lot of fine tuned engineering is needed. But this upcoming 150cc is a very potent player...can storm the mart by what it seems to be

Also, since you know so many things about Yamaha.......can you please tell me what became of the 165cc mill that was tested on the Gladiator sports concept. This model was not launched at all, since the company came up with the radical R15.But the last time I heard about this mill that it was tested and homologated so.Does it have any chance of making it to the Fazer after this ????? I seriously think Fazer needs this,to make it a very good and complete tourer. Now since the FZ16 mill is running on several models,Fazer may get a waiver...pls JD666.I know you.If you try you will get some info about this
