Bajaj, if i remember, launched the p220 before the p200. p220fi was expensive and p200 was then launched to fill the gap between 180/220..for the enthusiast who cannot stretch the budget too far...a good idea per se...later when they launched the p220dtsi carb which was 10k lower than the fi version and pretty close to the p200 price, they scrapped off the 200...it would be better if tvs released a 220+cc now since it has to compete with 220cc bikes..no 200cc as such in market...since the price of the would be tvs 200c and the other 220cc bikes may be very close, the 20cc lack may play a negative role in a buyer's mind(though we know tvs 200cc will be as good or even better)...i know its easier said than done considering various other engineering/market factors..but just my thoughts

wow those specs..only if they were real...i would prefer a naked look to the faired one..easier to manouvre in the traffic..fairing would make it cumbersome to ride and maintain...for the track/highway full fairing would be probably better i suppose...

I might not be an insider like you people,but I monitor TVS racing very closely.....since I love my Shogun way too much....

I bet TVS can easily be Indian Ducatis but they need to grow out of Bajaj strategy,something radical is better than lauching upgrades and cc bumps now and then.......

Btw, here's one HOT news.Though there is no official confirmation, the company in question is contemplating a tie-up/alliance with an international/renowned automobile manufacturer.And i wont be naming the company(for obvious reasons) and also because this would hog up the server space like anything!!
