The bike looks funny.
And just 21ps from a 250cc motor sounds a tad too less. And the fetish for 'phat' tyres would definitely take it's toll on performance and fuel efficiency alike. It wont be a scorcher(for it's size) for sure. Still a cheap-250cc is more than welcome, if et all it is coming!!

The Bike on the above mentioned site is of the Brazilian Yamaha Fazer 250.
There is NO Fazer 250 in Indonesia or any SE Asian country as the above site claims.
There is definitely a 225 cc bike called as "Scorpio 225" in Indonesia, but that's a different bike with an air cooled, carburetted engine.

Don't think so. There are only speculations of a Fazer 250 for Indonesia, with many sources claiming that its going to be "launched soon". There's nothing official on a Yam 250 for Indonesia.Originally posted by rohanbladebro just search google and u will find it out........its just been launched in indonesia
wid da same specs

A 250cc mill with 21PS doesn't really sound like a motorcycle that's going to be a hit, and it really doesn't seem to be having the looks going for it either. However, if it has good low end grunt it might just make for an excellent city commuter. But honestly, how many people would consider such a bike?
Anyway, someone has to start bringing in 250cc bikes, so even a bike that's low on power may be a step in the right direction. Let's hope the big ones take note and act upon it.

IMO Yamaha isnt stupid "enough" to bring a higher capacity bike in the Fazor lineage and price it near R15.Super CommuTOURer - Talk less, Ride more

Well No! I am happy with what they have done...Originally posted by Ram1883 View PostUnfulfilled expectations i presume?
Give me one bike that can 'compete' with R15 and then we will talk...
I would be the first in line if they bring a crazy enough product here and price it well!Super CommuTOURer - Talk less, Ride more

You're right, there are a lot of people who would want to buy something good once it does come along. But there's a bit of a history here that has really lowered the expectations people have. For the time being I don't think the offerings available could be described as anything other then: "YAWN!"Originally posted by satyenpoojary View PostWell No! I am happy with what they have done...

So looking at the future, I sure as hell do hope there will be something worth my attention a year or two down the line. Perhaps Honda, Suzuki or Yamaha can surprise us with something great, even a parallel twin from Bajaj would be an advancement. Anyway, I'm just going to sit and watch the speculations boil.
