That's not completely true. You cannot get a gearless license "MCW" and use an Activa for instance. You'd be challaned. Its a case of bad naming. The gearless license is in fact for 50cc and below. I know bcos i got challaned riding a Kinetic Honda using a gearless license when i was 17.

Nopes dude. Its just meant for 50cc and less displacement. I am not going to tell my brother about his rule , otherwise he will be asking My parents for a new bike Unlike other countries where you have to apply for licenses when you upgrading to a bigger displacement bikes.
We Bikers are not those who ride to commute , But the ones who commute to ride

The Wheel was a great invention; Two Wheels with a Motor in between was even better!

The same news i also had got from someone else that they are relaunching the comet 250 and 650 as they are surprised by the response the ninja 250 has got, but nothing was concrete during that time.

            • not printed anything about 250 though gt650R & st7 are surely slated for diwali launch.(as per BI)
              price bracket ex showroom :

              gt650r -3.75-4 L
              st7-5-5.25 L

That makes the GT as well as the ST most affordable one atleast to guys like me

This will also probably make the bajaj people to launch the ninja 650 in the same price range.

No they won't, considering that the Baby Ninja costs 3+L OTR, you will be looking at prices somewhere between 6L to 8L OTR for the Ninja 650 most likely. Yes, I'm putting a wide range here, since I don't know what the 650 costs and don't feel like looking it up.

ninja 650R will be in the price range of 5-5.25L on road.

That's a rather strong assertion you are making there. Any verifiable sources for that? Otherwise I suggest we let this rest and wait for Bajaj to make it's move.

Utter nonsense!! This is a 2-stroke bike, & will never be launched in India, unless our laws go back some 20 years..

The pleasure is when your rear wheel slides, and you bring it back; and when the front wheel lifts, you take your time bringing it back.

I've just done my little bit of research comparing the price of the baby ninja in EU to the price here in India, and then taking the EU price for the 650 by the same conversion. And it seems you could be right. But people obviously shouldn't get their hopes up.

@nagoo u can post my name buddy..

n source is bajaj itself,(indirectly). i work for Bosch Automotive Electronics India Ltd. as per our office monthly meeting, when they were talking about future orders n volumes, Bajaj has placed orders for ECU's for 2 wheelers and the production n delivery to Bajaj starts from late october.
