was it actually a HONDA or HERO HONDA?

It might be that HERO HONDA came up with another bike wrapped around UNICORN/HUNK/ACHIEVER engine.????
dude these people were riding in a group of 3..this man (in d pic was leading) followed by an unicorn and stunner..so i guess honda guys won't be testing bikes for hero honda

Sometimes even facts seem stranger then fiction, all we have to do is to be open minded, ride our current bikes and keep saving until we get what we like.Who knows anyone may end up saving an amount worth a Hayabusa

Actually like year and a half before OVERDRIVE or BIKE mag tested it in INDONASIA, and they rated it real good, i didnt find it's good pics on the net though.

              • Sometimes I feel that the 'need for speed' attitude is little exaggerated by some members!..Huh!

...They make a performance motorcycle which has greater approachability for masses in terms of cost and performance (read sub 400cc). And they make it in such a way which might look like a compromise on performance to you. They can either make it like this OR they can become an Aprilia (RS125)!!!

                  • Forget the whole new bikes, i'm waiting for the tuned exhausts, high lift cams, forged piston and a remapped ECU that was the part of the PRO KIT from TVS.

If these little things are taking so much time then imagine the time TVS will take to throw RTR180 with ABS and An RTR with more than 200CC in showrooms.

Forged piston was never the part of the Kit.

And for the delay of it's launch well i wonder what's the reason as Yamaha has already launched it's own and TVS is still giving excuse of homologation/clearance from govt/PUC issues!!

                      • Yes, original Pulsar with 143 cc did 118 kmph and original Pulsar 180 did ZMA harassing 128 kmph true. Current Pulsar 150 with 149 cc engine does 109-110 true and Pulsar 200 does 119-120 true.

                        Back to the topic:
All honda engines sold in India are based on other Honda successful engines sold elsewhere in the world. Only Twister 110 has a engine which debuted first in India.

Do you think a new Honda 150 + cc would be based on an engine specifically made for India which has not debuted at any other place unless Honda also decides to do bore job like Bajaj and brings out a new big/small bore engine based on its existing engine or bring in a totally new engine. For info., a ZMA engine with CBZ piston makes an interesting 210 cc option. Without suitable modifications, it can also have a CR as high as 12.8:1.

Possibilities are endless. Point is: Are manufacturers ready to provide an engine single mindedly designed for performance with appropriate longevity.
                        The Original CBZ

OVERDRIVE and AUTOCAR INDIA both had featured it in that KIT.
