Ahem! So the TVS news is now CONFIRMED by a news channel which *hopefully* didnt rely this thread for the news

Tejas, who said what in that show? Did TVS say something?
It was a 'ticker' news which was running in the channel.

Bike India tested all the bikes of 150cc back to back barring the R15 and FZ16 .In that comparo,GS150R has been accounted for delivering best in all aspects and also bettering the Honda in engine and transmission department, check out this issue- Bike India May 2010 having the punchline "Power Struggle".
Now I am not going by sales figures,if I am to consider sales figures,I have to say Platina is better than the Pulsar 220 DTSi.

@Ken cool..........just speculating in hope of something totally rocking

What I meant is that the CB150R is not worth it!
The Wheel was a great invention; Two Wheels with a Motor in between was even better!

why everything is worth in India.............manufacturers even got the impression of our one unique talent, that is Adjusting !!!!!! We know what to adjust and where to adjust, our life is spent bent on adjusting
People wanting real performers, cant get them because of the absurd sales figures that OEMs want, so we have to adjust

Moreover, leaving my ridiculous sympathy apart , Honda CBR150R is not a global Honda product, its specifically manufactured by Thai based Honda with its own design and with certain emission norms too.The Dazzler design here at auto expo is built on the tried and tested Unicorn design, its a ready chassis,CBR150R engine just needs a homologation, complying with emission norms, which means even restricting it would make it more powerful than the present CB Unicorn.

However if its the design and chassis which doesnt deserve the CBR150R engine, then u maybe true but again its a design whose mother platform has been tested on Indian soil and potholes with every kind of adjustments................so kindly adjust

@Payeng........... when it comes to sales even apples aren't compared to apples,Mangoes are best sold in its season, apples are highest sold in its season.Bikes as they come are machines,in India the biggest fault according to me is that we never try to judge a bike by its technology,we always tend to judge by sales figures. We are trapped in whatever the companies try to make us understand.

Now Fayad555 breaks all hope n speculations and seems my doubt is true.Honda has all but GS150R in sight and not our expectations.CB-Daz just gets botox, and not adrenaline injected to the heart.Which means, if Unicorn mill remains same, it will do have a power lift................ similar to Hunk and CBZ-X.

Somehow, this time it's happening like a super secret under cover operation with almost no information out in public.

                              • why we are getting these bikes, its main reason is over protection to our bike makers.govt.may open import of bikes of 150cc and above with new technology and fuel efficiency.duty should be 25%,then these bike makers will think about customers.at present they think, customers are at their marcy what ever they will make customers have to purchase it.main fault is with the govt.policies.healthy competition of internetional lavel must be there.
