Possible launch this year:
- Honda 250cc
- TVS 200cc+(no official news, though)
- Hint of 250cc bike from Yamaha
- 125cc bikes from TVS and Yamaha
- Bajaj Discover 150
- More garish bikes from HH

already new series of Passion is out in the market....... so we can expect more........

This is a 2010 Speculation discussion.

Secondly Yamaha and everybody else know that if that prehistoric Fazer 250 comes to India with 21Bhp at 2L, it is a sure recipe for disaster!

Just check the prices in the countries that the Fazer has been doing the rounds.

All they need to do it put that engine in Current fazer 150's body and they will have a hot selling 250 that looks bigger than Ninja and it will be cheap too as it shares its body parts with current Fazer.

i belive not in 2010 but can anybody tell that when bajaj is launching all new allrefreshed pulsar series?i heard they are building chassis ,body engine from scratch.

TVS opting for a 200CC+ machine to blow away 220 on straights and taking the R15 for a run on corners with a new chassis, mono-shock suspension

Suzuki finally getting out of its messed up and confused 125 segment entering with a Sports model

cant imagine them experimenting in Indian markets even in my dreams
They are probably the safest players I have EVER seen.

Nothing to do except following the Master and de-tuning Masters products to get more fuel economy

Yahama
Once again bringing some underpowered product at premium price(NOT TALKING ABOUT R15)and winning the race with a good chassis and technology and not to forget styling.

SZ having a 125cc air cooled engine is a bad news.Its the same mill on that Gladiator,not much to complain but.........nothing new.Yamaha is doing this the Bajaj way then.It wasted the dynamic FZ16 and Fazer with lower power output engines and then its wasting the SZ with the same glue again.

Few points here:
1) The New YBR 110 from Yamaha doesn't seem to have ditto same engine as the G5 / Alba. They have clearly mentioned making it more drive-able and stuff. The Japanese don't yell out every change they make to the engine and announce it as a new engine.
2) Even the SZ would not be the same engine as the Gladi. It would have some tweaks for the better.
3) If you did't understand by now, engines world-over do not get revolutionized from version to version every time. They evolve step by stem and some times there is a big change. Even the so called Bajaj's revolutionary engines are similarly evolved - unlike the perception they create with us.
4) The FZ is NOT a low powered engine. Just because it has a tad lower top speed than other bikes it doesn't mean it is a slow bike. Its beauty lies in low and mid range - amazing and very powerful. Excluding the RTR (which is more powerful), the FZ is the fastest from 0 to 60. Also, in its category there are slower bikes than FZ both in the top speed and in the time taken to reach the top speed.

Trust me, not even 5% people buy a bike for its acceleration or top speed alone. They buy them for overall package with an inclination towards something that matters to them the most.

Finally some post that makes sense... thumbs up dude!!! but the thing is I got my FZ-S for 67.5k discounting from student discount so if the FZ would have been priced at 70k and FZ-S 72-73... is a great price.. but now it is selling for more than 75k that sucks....

having used FZ/Fazers for more than 10000 kms i can safely say that may be barring RTR 180/P-220/15 she can stay behind the back of almost all motorcycles till 90kmph post which she begins to lose
