      • Ahem...guys at AKRAPOVIC, can you design something for the INDIAN bikes, cuz all we do is speculate here and the results which comes out ultimately from the factory is always just too late.

Where the hell is that RTR 200,220,250 whatever it is??????
and how about adding a shift light (programmable), temp light this time to the console.

I hope it comes with another nice low end bike as well (read around 200CC ones)

                • it seems from all these speculation talks this year there wont be any new bikes coming out. the existing ones may get pro kits but that too would be like 50% cost of the bike or more or max everyone may do some facelift jobs, like new version of unicorn, splendor and passion with new stickers or old wine in new bottle like what hero honda did with zmr.

I have only hopes with yamaha that they may launch a new and upgraded version of R15

I cry a 250cc in this design, nothing else will do or it would be a waste of a dynamic design like the new Yamaha Fazer.A standard 4t 200cc would be smoked by my modded 110 2t by a mile-anytime, anywhere...........be it traffic lights or street fights or a long haul.
And this design looks old too,TVS is surely trying to make it a handling lord and racier chassis.
I hope whatever TVS cooks up they do it on lines of the Titanic Taurus aka Feiro F3.

Yes, the design is around 6 years old. But despite that it looks HOTT!! Has non-functioning twin projectors, as well!!

Btw, what happened to the 250cc from Honda which is supposed to be launched this Diwali. Any scoops, guys!!

                        • New Honda Unicorn launch in May | Autocar India

After doing a twist with its last launch – the 110 cc Twister, Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India now wants to dazzle with a new sportier and premium version of its Unicorn, which sources say will be called Dazzler.
The new bike, will be a sportier and premium version of the Unicorn, and is expected to be launched around May 8, 2010. When contacted, a senior HMSI official declined to comment on the new bike but said that there will be a launch in the beginning of May.
The new bike is expected to come with new features like front & rear disc brakes, digital tachometer. Honda had made some cosmetic changes to the otherwise staid Unicorn and added a prefix – CB, and Rs 2,000 to its price tag.
According to a source, the new bike will score high on style and features to attract the younger crowd, who gravitate more towards the stylish and sportier Bajaj Pulsar and TVS Apache. Honda’s new bike is expected to cost around 10,000 rupees more than the current CB Unicorn.
Oh no not again... just for the rear disk brakes, digital tachometer and a new paint scheme an increase of 10,000 Rs... man i am speechless...

The price one pays for an 'exclusive' and 'new' product, I guess. Anyhow, the new Unicorn or shall I say 'Dazzler' looks good, in my opinion. But, yes, Rs.10,000/- might be a little too of an hike. However, I feel it looks way better than the current 'outdated' Unicorn!

                            :)

Sure it really looks better than the current Unicorn... a 10K increase means almost 76K onroad in Kerala...
You never want to do this to us Honda, do you???
Also one doubt - does the current Unicorn will be stop in production or will honda launch both?
My personal view: Both must be available... else spending ~76K is not worth while, unless they don't power up the motor...

                              • ^^ they've got that news mostly from xBhp itself. Here we are speculating 10K more (see posts a page back) and also going by the premium models sting Honda is into now a days everyone expects it so.

But this model at a premium would be a wrong step from Honda. For the other models Honda is charging a premium, they hardly have any competition. But for Unicorn at a premium they have strong competition. 2-4K more than Unicorn is the max they should price it.

I'd say, take the Uni out. Get this new bike in at the same price (Uni recently got a price hike), and see the tamasha in the market - this WILL sell like hot cakes.
