Why doesnt kawasaki bring in some CBU's too just like other manufacturers?

Ducati has been struggling with the homologation of the 646 for the past year or so! And it is still not done!
+1 What I heard was that it churns about 30ps...Originally posted by MG_Biker1806 View PostYou won't have any option in that range in future. The best you can get is the Ninja 250 which churns out 33ps. If someday any manufacturer decides to come out with another 250cc then also it won't churn out more than 33ps based on the European regulation for 250cc bikes.
Honda will be launching a 250cc this year but it will churn around 27-28ps max.
Whole new product Made in India for the world...Originally posted by Technician View PostModerator Saheb, please also disclose whether this Honda will be a whole indigenous product or a product with an imported engine like R-15.

A single cylinder churning out 30ps is not easy and it will escalate the cost. None of their 250cc around the world churns out that much. Unless its a CBR platform its highly unlikely and as per news it will be a naked avatar though two variants of the same bike is not ruled out.Originally posted by satyenpoojary View Post+1 What I heard was that it churns about 30ps...
The engine will definitely be of those used around the world with some tweaking here and there based upon certain market and its needsOriginally posted by satyenpoojary View PostWhole new product Made in India for the world...
Read above.Originally posted by rennycornelius View PostDo i smell a HONDA 250 parallel twin churing out 28-30PS , with upside down front setup, digital instruments, thing for 180000-200000????

You mean the two variants like they launched in Brazil? If yes will be really interesting.Originally posted by MG_Biker1806 View PostA single cylinder churning out 30ps is not easy and it will escalate the cost. UPDATE: The Honda Dazzler has been brought to the showrooms in some of the cities and is available to be viewed by public. A lot of details have surfaced. after we gave you the first pictures of the bike. Listed below are some of the things that we have come to know about the bike in the last few hours.
1. The bike is said to produce 14.2 bhp and hit a top speed of 112km/h - which sounds like decent performance for this segment. However, the claimed fuel efficiency is said to be around 70kmpl, which is a little hard to believe.
2. The bike features a digital speedo with a bluish backlight. The tachometer is analogue with an illuminated needle. Rough description of the tacho suggests that it has a white dial and a bluish illumination for the needle.
3. The engine is now redlined at 9500 rpm, which means that the changes are not just cosmetic. Honda have done something to change the character of the engine as well to make it more rev happy and performance oriented. we can expected a slight improvement in terms of acceleration figures. The sprocketing is also reported to altered in favor of quicker acceleration.
4. There are no clip-ons and disc brake comes as an option. The bike also has an engine kill switch
5. The bike will be made available in four colours. While we don't know the exact names used by Honda for these colours, a rough description of the four colours will be Cherry Red, Golden green, Silver and Black
6. The rear tyre seems like a 110-section unit and the tyres both up front and rear will be tubeless
7. There is no chain cover on the motorcycle.
