The BWS looks like an mini "FZ" among scoots. If launched it would be interesting to see if our Uncle Ji's and Aunty's would like to be seen on that one.

    Pricing would be the key.

I guess its more targetted towards the college kids who want something mean!
(Hey that reminds me, there was this kid member in xBHP with a modified scooty! with 4 silencers in old xBHP!)

Power scoot! I would love to keep one for city riding!

      • Yes, but the best part is Girls would have something more appealing to ride.Yamaha rocked with the way the FZ looks, which definitely is a turn on for Boys .These scooters would be another revelation.

Suzuki's Access 125 is a performer scooter, but looks are very sophisticated rather than being funky or boldly stylish.
Honda's Dio and Aviator are stylish but not so bold as BW.Sure, these Yam scoots would give Honda scoots a complex when it comes to looks.

But anyway are these good enough to make it here by 2010 ????

I have opted for ZMR at that age..... instead of what you have mentioned.

Well Pricing is what would decide where it is actually targeted. Only few parents would like to shell out 60k+(most likely) for a scooter.

OT:That Scoot also had Sony Xplod Speaker system and white NEONS underneath!!

You cannot just generalize that always uncles want bland styling. Suzuki Access is a perfect example. Launch the stylish Yamaha here and see how many uncles ride this.

I have seen many so called uncles riding FZs, Fazers, Karizmas, and P220s. Over the period, those uncles also get used to the styling and would like to buy one, if it is as functional as other scooters.

Remember, you cannot beat Honda in engine department. Suzuki tried and failed (low mileage). Access does not give good mileage and also it looks bland. Had they made it look decent and a bit stylish, people would have given look at it. Same case with Yamaha, it cannot beat Honda in engine department; yamaha is not associated with good mileage in India. Yamaha can atleast do something with radical styling, as they did with FZ and Fazer.

And, I feel a significant chunk of buyers are forced to wait for Activa as there is no good alternative to it.

Waiting period does'nt means that a vehicle is doing it's sales in numbers.
