Some other things my free revving mind happened to notice at the Toyota stall.

1)It seems like Kenda and most others didn't notice the all new corolla at the toyota stall.
The new features in it being side skirts, a rear spoiler & new alloy wheels.
(Sumone seems to be taking cues from hero honda it seems)

2) What M.G. and I found pretty strange was that the Prius had been given the corner most place in the stall. (wasn't this supposed to be the year of environment friendly technologies?). We had to dig in very deep to make the toyota people speak about the tentative launch date which could very well be in this very financial year.

3)They still kept their mouths zipped up when it came to the pricing of Etios/ Prius. The only info being that the Prius is being imported as a CBU, so I don't expect many people to turn environment friendly with a costly toyota Hybrid.

4)There was no word from Toyota on the specs of the Engines of any new cars other than their engine capacity.

5) The last and the most weird thing was that Even on the press launch people were not allowed to touch or sit inside the Etios/Prius. Pretty strange considering the fact that Toyota is about to launch these vehicles in the very near future. How can a manufacturer get a detailed feedback on its vehicle if the prospective customers can't even touch the vehicle?
Whether it was a marketing strategy or a strategic error i'm not too sure.

i found out cb twister look better thn uni sports and even earlier uni
but sometimes pics doesn't do justice to the design
ne1 who has seen this bike in 3d(real view) and not 2d(pictures) ?

^ahem .. i disagree my friend ... actually cb twister is flimsy ..
whereas new UNI looks quite thick ,dense and fairing is looking like, it just preparing it's wing to fly... u got my point.

@ken da- I have a query(as always). Any idea about some higher cc bikes from TVS (more than 180cc). Some 22bhp bike was speculated, I hope its not the TVS Racing. Any news would be helpful. In any case I would be there on 9th with other xbhp-ians.



OT-Actually thinking of buying 180RTR and dont want to miss any thing.

moreover it seems to be a plastic fuel tank like fzs's

was expecting more info abt ABS and RTR 200+ from TVS

well frankly speaking
the design is all said and done and the freshest design in india
but like the earlier version of the uni , i am not able to digest the design
there is something really wrong with the design
it still wud be a riders paradise and not a show bike

ever seen a bird when it is preparing for flight... just notice the stance it makes .. u'll understand...

on a side note : must control my fanboism .
