I guess they're trying to help but we have to understand it is not GTA San Andreas we're playing here where you press accelerate and then the up arrow button and there's a wheelie. its difficult to teach a wheelie through words. Its more of self learning or the second option is live training. So lets do this. lets group up and try ourselves. City wise. On weekends. How do you find the idea? Opinions are welcomed

I think someone here should start teaching a wheelie lesson from a POV perspective riding in their bike, the clutch basics, throttle basics and on a desi bike, populary Pulsar or Karizma etc. Anyone game?

          ^True.
Doing wheelie from a stand-still is pretty easy.
But doing a wheelie while in motion is what I would like to learn.
Have seen lot of kids(without helmets) in Bangalore doing wheelies on Rx and Samurais when they are at 40/50kmph speeds..

Though, the concept i learnt from here and there was, The clutch needs to be pressed and then popped at high RPM. But I couldn't do so, effectively.
Would require some more details, what speeds/gear/body weight positioning etc.
"Madness", as you know, is a lot like gravity, all it takes is a little push !

I will try doing them myself in quite a short time. But will keep the basics here then and there updated.

Wheelie which bike ya Owned depends on the bike that we are concerned with. On a pulsar you can pull a wheelie in motion with a slight push of the front brake after holding ur clutch in second gear pull a lil throttle release the clutch and brake and pull the handle bar towards yourself at the same time that's it and you will find a bike with her front tyre in the air and always keep one thing in the mind never try to do this after having your feet on the rear foot pegs if some thing went wrong you just need to press down the rear brake to put the front tyre on the road again..

No matter what one explains about a wheelie. A wheelie is a completely different technique, only due to repeated trial and error will bring the stunter in one. But that said, practicing them in a safe environment with discretion to others is a wise idea to reckon with.

But try try try is the mantra here.

Trust me there are more better videos than this. Even though this is good, there are more detailed DIY techniques on how to wheelie.

                      Just a friendly deed.

I have a very old HH Splendor, that I can afford to drop. I've planned to learn wheelies through this bike. So my question is whether a HH Splendor could wheelie or not? And if it can, how hard is it to wheelie on a Splendor?

The best wheelie method that worked for me is WHEELIE USING CLUTCH METHOD: ( Any bike ) 1st gear , smoothly open the throttle and at around 4K mark ( still opening the throttle ) simply blip the clutch and front wheel should come off atleast 2-3 inches ( not more than that in your first trials ) off the ground . Play with it around for sometime till you know the best combination and keep the fron wheel height low . Next time ( with full protective gear and in a safe surrounding ), when you lift the wheel say 6 inches try to smoothly work with throttle to keep it like that for say 1 meter , slowly increase this distance . soon you will find carrying like this to quite a long distance .
No sudden acceleration required , No pulling up the bike , effortless method looks more professional too .
Once you become expert in it , next level you can immediately cut off the clutch right at the start and immediately pull up a smooth wheelie from standstill and using the throttle smooth carry it on for any distance .
Always keep yourself ready for rear brakes and avoid any abrupt action like giving sudden throttle or sudden brakes . Slowly raise the height and with power of machine carry on that height to some disance .

Wheelie on r15 is pretty simple.
I rev till 7-8k revs in first and then drop the clutch.
By revving I mean blipping the gas up to say 4k then second blip up to 9k and as the revs are dropping upto 8k, some gas and drop the clutch.

Lifts right up, Also it helps to look above a sky or something.
Looking in front did felt wierd at first when it popped up.
