Yeah. Old Splendors too can pull up wheelies like mad !
I have a 1997 model. I raise the throttle above half (in 1st gear) and then suddenly pop out the clutch.
The front wheel will be on air. Now try on 3/4 throttle and even more height the front wheel will be on air. Try it! It will be fun with the old beat !!!

      • Quenstion regarding wheelie

Dear brothers , first of all let me tell you that this is your indian bike lover brother from Bangladesh wheres bikes above 150cc are illegal hence my pursuit for high performance bike is limited to 150cc , and i have this ug4.5 150 pulsar.
Now being an enthusiast i tried to take the most out of my bike and do some stunt which seems pretty hard if not impossible for an amateur like me. After some trial and error i manged to pull front wheel up 15-20 inch above the ground only when a pillion on my back ! Couldn't do it while i ride single
        Now my question's are ,
Is it too hard to do wheelie on a pulsar 150 ?
What rpm i should throttle up before releasing the clutch ? Is it 8k or 9k or above redline ?
What damage i might do if i practise it too often ?
If anybody can do a good afew seconds lasting wheelie without pillion ,please suggest me the procedure
        Thankz in advance

          Approved and merged!

Please wear proper gear and do the practice sessions in empty fields or closed areas!

If you want to do easier wheelies I suggest you go for a sprocket change. And you can't power wheelie on a 150 you have to go the clutch way.

But first get a bicycle and practice wheelies on that to help you understand the whole dynamics of the stunt.

If you have too many hard landings it can damage your front suspension. Its not about how often you wheelie but how you wheelie.

To perform a long wheelie you need to have near perfect rear brake and throttle control once you get the front to lift. That's something you'll have to develop on your own as no once can really teach you that.

Always use proper gear. Since you are doing wheelies the only way to be safe is to have a jacket with a back protector and elbow guards. Pulling stunts are really really dangerous even for pros.

How can a wheelie be performed on royal Enfield classic 350 ?
If not a proper wheelie , then just a pop wheelie will be good enough .
                Thanks in advance .

I did wheelie on 150cc bike. But got my brand new Duke 390 3 months ago & this bike makes me feel nervous to do a wheelie. It lifts like hell.

And why do you want to try that? Are you with specific stunting group who does this professionally?

We "ride" bikes. We "drive" cars.
Do you know what pro means, professional. So if you want to tour like a pro, just head out and venture out.
So if you are a tourer you want to learn wheelies too, so that when you accidentally wheelie you can stop it? What logic is that.

For Touring : No one can teach you that, trust me on that
For track : Contact your nearest track riding school, rajni academy, CSS, apex etc etc
For wheelies : Contact some professional team and learn with them

Learning wheelie = giving batman reflexes, again logic fail

And alongwith that so remember, jack of all, master of none will not yield anything special

Doing stunts ll give good reflexes. An stunter could handle a bike better than an regular commuter.

BTW suggest me an track school in chennai.

Can you guide me who said that stunters can handle bike well and other riders cant. You need to get your facts straight or start riding sensibly and know your bike more to get all the facts in place

And since you are in chennai and ride a bike and have an internet connection with google search at disposal, but still let me do the hardwork for you, not to forget it took me quite some time , rather hours to get the info for you
