My views on the YZF-R15 V2.0: http://www.xbhp.com/talkies/news/198...tml#post699240
The pleasure is when your rear wheel slides, and you bring it back; and when the front wheel lifts, you take your time bringing it back.

Thanks VigneshOriginally posted by nathanvighnesh View PostVery well said Ajay. Hope you finish all your dream rides quickly, and start something even bigger (world tour
) with your One.
P.S. - When are you hitting the track?? Its time you gave a treat to your bike.
Amen to that
Saving up for a Single-piece and a spare set of tyres
Thanks AdiOriginally posted by n_aditya View PostCool. Could I borrow your bike?
On a serious note, nice to see that you're putting theOne to good use rather than treating it like a coffee shop ornament like most people do.
Once again, wishing you many years of happy and safe rides with theOne.
Now that she has crossed the 10k mark isnt it time for some performance upgrades and add-on's? A growler would make her (and us) really happy.

Planning a GQ ride on The One soon !!
Tyres and a single piece take the priority, although an Akrapovic is ruining my sleep

11000 kms
Last week The One completed 11000kms on the brilliant NH-48
Been living with the R1 for more than year and what a fantastic motorcycling experience it has been.
Trust me its not about riding your balls-out or doing 200+ clicks; for me it is the feedback the motorcycle gives to your inputs, the motorcycle's reaction to the slight push of the footpeg while carving a corner, the weight transfer when you accelerate or brake, the change in handling due to slight increase or decrease in the tyre pressures etc is what adds so much dough to riding and you start appreciating the design and dynamics of motorcycle design.
The R1 is due for a service, the following has to replaced:
- Air filter
- Oil filter
- Oil Change
- Disc fluid change
- Regular lubrication and coolant top-up
Some stats about my R1:
Model : 2008
ODO: 11345kms
Mileage*: 14kmpl (in the city) 17-18kmpl(on the highway)
Average Service Cost: 5K per service at Yamaha Service Center
* Sane throttle riding with IOC XtraPremium
Sorry for the poor image quality, its tough to click one when you are hounded by 6-7 villagers trying to take a picture with the motorcycle
