  • Thanks Ajay ! Yes, I will stick to it and hope to get it soon . Just by reading or thinking about the term "Kwacker" I get lost in some unknown, insane still mesmerizing world of my own . I hope my prayers are answered pretty soon.

        • @strider : Superb man!! Simply awesome . As a kid, I always had in the back of my head what it would be like to own an SBK but I just made up my mind that I could never afford one! Now I feel I should have atleast tried doing what you did

              • Kudos !!!

At the end of your dream story, my eyes were almost full ! I like it when people fight real hard for what they dream for and achieve it after a hell of a struggle ! You are an inspiration to teenagers who have a passion for the bigger bikes ! I seriously wish I could post your story on my Motorcycling category , but then feared you might sue me !

Your story implies only one thing - Dreams indeed come true when you are determined !

                Cheers !!!

                  • Strider,

I read your post right on the day you started the thread. I could relate this to myself and was so touched that I couldn't type anything at all. Few more days, in the mix of things, this got buried in my brain box. However, I always knew about you and your R1.

I saw that the thread up was today and so, I decided to post my comments here.

Well, I have a little surprise for you! Follow the link, please:

                        • One of the best kept R1's i have ever set my eyes on. Bone stock yet purr's like a kitten.

Ajay, i guess you are the only one apart from Sunil who i know that has put the R1 to some serious use (clocking miles).

Wishing you many more happy miles and years with this baby. IF you ever tire of her (which i know you never will) and want her to move to a loving and caring home, do let me know.

This is what happens when one is technically challenged.
                            Anyway, here you go:

This happened somewhere between 2000 and 2002 when, I was in high school. I had been to the town with my parents (Mom wanted to visit a jewelry shop!). This poster on side of the road caught my eyes and needless to say, I fell for her in an instant. I asked my parents to carry on and further, spent several minutes gazing at her. Then, I ran up and down to talk to my dad about the poster several times. Finally, my dad bought the poster for me the next day. Paid Rs. 25! It was on my wall for an year or so. Removed the poster to preserve her. More than a decade on, I still have it. Still in love with her.
                            Yeah, someday.....
