  • Congrats to both of you strider & The celebrity.Wish you many more happy miles on your beloved machines.
@The celebrity Do share the servicing cost so that both can be compared in terms of servicing cost.I think Ninja's servicing cost is not that low considering its spare parts are costly.

        • Finally They Arrive

After 7 months and 5 days, I finally get the Michelin Pilot Road 2s for my R1
The adrenaline kept me awake last night

Special thanks to Gowtham who carried them from US and very grateful to Vasuki

Special mention of Akhil aka rossiter, who lent me a spare tyre to keep me on the saddle; I mean it is so hard to believe that such a fantastic gentleman is out there.

Thank you xBhp, because of you I have had the privilege to meet such wonderful people

          Thanks fellas

Now the GIFT (Great Indian Food Trip) beckons

Nope Nikhil, since that panga between tyre manufacturers and the government regarding an ISI stamp on imported tyres...

Sad part is that it still hasn't been resolved.
              Affected Manufacturers include Michelin(most-hit), Pirelli

It has been 2 months since I have done a big one on the R1 mainly due to unavailability of tyres and the long pending service.

                            • lucky you, atleast you used to get 800 bucks as petrol allowance back in 2005, I'm a 2nd yr. engg. student, but heck I don't even get 500 bucks as petrol allowance in 2011. Back then fuel was cheap, you managed to save... The fuel prices are sky-high, my bike starves for fuel but I don't have money, it just stands parked in my parking area.
Its the fusion of a two wheeled machine & a human being which creates a true biker.

Well we dont have any control on the raising fuel prices.
I believe that 'Actions indicate priority'.
If riding a bike is so dear to you, you will figure out a way to save/earn some money for fuel.

                                Sorry if i sound rude.
