    Ajay, i guess you are the only one apart from Sunil who i know that has put the R1 to some serious use (clocking miles).

    Wishing you many more happy miles and years with this baby. IF you ever tire of her (which i know you never will) and want her to move to a loving and caring home, do let me know.
    Thanks Adi, well you can add Akhil to the R1 Tourer list as well
    I am very sure that I would never part ways with the R1*, but yes I can trust you with the motorcycle

    Anyway, here you go:

    This happened somewhere between 2000 and 2002 when, I was in high school. I had been to the town with my parents (Mom wanted to visit a jewelry shop!). This poster on side of the road caught my eyes and needless to say, I fell for her in an instant. I asked my parents to carry on and further, spent several minutes gazing at her. Then, I ran up and down to talk to my dad about the poster several times. Finally, my dad bought the poster for me the next day. Paid Rs. 25! It was on my wall for an year or so. Removed the poster to preserve her. More than a decade on, I still have it. Still in love with her.
    Yeah, someday.....
    Thanks Makky, this brought back so many memories; especially all those fights I had with parents to put up R1 posters in my room.

    Yeah man, Go for IT,someday soon you shall ; Amen

          The pleasure is when your rear wheel slides, and you bring it back; and when the front wheel lifts, you take your time bringing it back.

                    @strider,
                    Thanks a lot for the inspirational write-up.
                    I was quite Down and depressed, with my CA results not clearing and my goal seeming to be parting ways with the failure.
                    But ur story has given me the confidence, and that aggression is back..

                    I truly relate ur passion for the love with mine, and I have huge RESPECT for that kind of Passion.
                    Hope we can can meet up some day(just need some-time to get on par with you on the bike Quotient before we meet)

                                Thanks Sushrut, I have removed the old poster from the wall, since it has aged and got it laminated, but it is an awesome feeling to see the poster (2007 R1) and look out of my room's window to see the actual motorcycle
