Actually noOriginally posted by sheelpriye View PostCan we let this cr@p discussion come to an end?
Everyone is agreeing that the 250R won't den't the Ninja's performance on road but WILL make the sales graph dip.
Anybody got anything new to discuss?
But there is a way the Ninja 250R could cost less... thats wat they did in the US.
Rip off the FI and plonk a Carb.... I really don't care if they do... I already have FI

Agree dude, they are different bikes, one good thing is Honda is getting 'bigger' and that's good for us. It's non-sensical discussing sales and after effects of 250R on Ninja.....lets hope those 1800 guys get their bikes very soon !!Originally posted by sheelpriye View PostCan we let this cr@p discussion come to an end?

Just adding something to the deemed as 'crap' discussion
Oh yeah sure..........I do not think replacing the Fi with Carb would make much difference except the price then.So long as the Kawasaki is in the hands of Bajaj even Carbed versions would be as good as the Fi,because Bajaj is the company who pumped out 21bhp from a carbed Pulsar220 and ditching the 19bhp Fi Pulsar220 in its favourOriginally posted by killer_instinct View PostActually no

It actually would.
CBR 250 costs 3999 $ in USA(non ABS version)
And Ninja carb costs EXACTLY the same 3999$
See the difference it would make.

The carbed version cannot work in India, it is not complaint with Bharat Stage 4 emission norms!Originally posted by MACH50 View PostOh yeah sure..........I do not think replacing the Fi with Carb would make much difference except the price then.So long as the Kawasaki is in the hands of Bajaj even Carbed versions would be as good as the Fi,because Bajaj is the company who pumped out 21bhp from a carbed Pulsar220 and ditching the 19bhp Fi Pulsar220 in its favour

Come on people.. I see lot of people are confused here..
how come CBR250 can eat Ninja 250 sales no way?
Let's take an example of P150 vs R15
If somebody comes and asks you is P150 going to eat R15 sales?? LOL
right?
I see people here talking about mere 6 bhp difference, better low end , price point.. all is well.. same points apply to P150, won't they?
But the thing is P150 will sell more coz, it's cheaper and aimed at different segment. Not that people who want to buy R15 will buy P150 or FZ due to lower price point. Same is the case with CBR250.. to me guys who have been dreaming about Ninja, but can't buy it due to budget constraints got an option to buy CBR250.. and they are the ones that are going to buy it..
Now as for those who can afford Ninja 250, I believe they are discerning enough to know what CBR250 is capable of and what Ninja 250 is capable of.Let's bring down the monster of corruption to it's knees.. please visit http://ipaidabribe.com/

^^ but the difference between the P150 & R15 isn't the same as the difference between the CBR & the N250R. (according to comparisons of the CBR250R & N250R)
i know what the N250R is capable of... and they're saying the CBR250R accelerates faster than the N250R... wow... so...
all i can say is.. i can't wait to ride a CBR250R.
P.S: I don't plan on buying either bike..

Difference may not be so glaring in case of CBR250 & Ninja 250.. it was just an example with similar scenario. By the way.. isn't P150 fast enough @ low end to beat R15.. but still we know that R15 as a class apart. We know that P150 is 2-valve & R-15 has got all the possible tech.. when it comes to CBR250 vs Ninja 250.. only difference is single cylinder vs parallel twin and the resultant behaviour & power output.. I believe 6-7 bhp is a lot of difference.. that's what separates a P220 from P150 isn't it? If i'm right, CBR250 is equally heavy when compared to Ninja 250. And finally, both these bikes are certainly not for city.. I mean they are not the most sought after bikes for city riding. So the one with moolah, will always prefer Ninja 250.
As for me.. I'm Krazy To Meet the 200 Duke
