Stop IT!
Clearing a few facts,
- 1000 Ninjas sold in one year.
- 1800 CBRs booked in 1 & 1/2 Months.
These figures indicate something dont they?
I do agree N250 is premium but not worth 3.1L and if you are getting 250CC with a few bhps lower then its not much because you are not going to earn your livelihood from racing are you?
I booked the CBR just because I liked the specs & the looks, comparatively smaller than N250 but easy to maneuver in the city wouldnt it be?
The showroom price of CBR is half the onroad price of N250 so definately it will hurt the N250 sales!
Both the bikes have no comparison, both Kwacker & Honda are best and their bikes speak fro themselves so guys stop fighting.I feel like Peter Parker when I drive my Hunk in the city but I become Spiderman when I am on my CBR swinging from one lane to the other on expressways.
My Stable:
2009 & Present: HH Hunk Limited Edition [Red Striker]
2011 & Present: Honda CBR 250R [Black Blade]

Nice to see so many CBR250's have been booked. Once they become common enough for people to ignore them and not gather the kind of attention the Ninja does, I will get one to replace my Apache RTR180 (which i use as my city ride/shopping cart)
From all the reviews it seems to be great for city riding, so should be the perfect city ride for me.Last edited by sammyboy76; 02-20-2011, 02:04 AM.2017 KTM Duke 390

Though the tag would remain silent for most cases on this bike.(CBR250)Originally posted by fireblah View Postthe CBR tag itself says alot of things..
This bike is a premium roadster and not as sport focused as the CBR tag is generally associated with(you know the best).Hell's Angel

Yes dude but still it wont be so much common!
Well till now I have seen atleast 10 ninjas in Mumbai.
I booked it because of the reviews from major motorcycle experts & websites.
I saw a comparison video of CBR, Ninja & Hyosung GT250R & they gave CBR 1st place, Ninja 2nd and GT250R 3rd and they also did explain why they gave such ratings.
N250 is not FI and has lesser torque but more hp while our baby the CBR is the opposite, it has FI, more torque and comparatively 6-7 hp less that it and CBR will be made in India so I guess the spares wont be an issue while N250 is not made but imported, I wish it could be made in India so that the cost could have been reduced!I feel like Peter Parker when I drive my Hunk in the city but I become Spiderman when I am on my CBR swinging from one lane to the other on expressways.

Yes it is. But HH_HUNK mentioned he booked the bike after reading the reviews and all reviewers were comparing it to the carb Ninja250.In US they still sell it. Whatever HH_HUNK mentioned is straight from those reviewsOriginally posted by trojan View Post^^^ Ninja is not FI??? The ninjas being sold out in India are FI

P.S : I so hope the Indo-Japan free trade treaty leads to reduction in the prices of N250 by some margin.

If your posts are followed, one can very well understand where the C250R can stand on the market, what can it deliver & where it stands on the competition & all the pros & cons on it.Skill is what keeps you on a Motorcycle

Couldn't find the right thread to post this, the news thread or here. However, this thread seems to be the saner one, so here goes
Here's one of the best modded CBRs(I am entitled to my opinion)
CBR 250 Modify by KD SHOP | ???????-???????? - ?????? - cbr250thai.com
I'm sure most of the ppl scouring the thai websites would have noticed this.
Now, my question: What does this hose do?

From my observation, the hose is connected to the port which houses the engine oil dip stick. Any purpose this mod can provide?
