yeah i remember that ride.. 07 GSXR1000 and 06 R1 with 20+ Mumbai-Pune riders riding down the AMBY fog. It was somewhere around the same time last year.. let's do this again this time.Originally posted by nitrosatya View Post@Motor: How about Amby? Remember Mr. Chris's GSXR????

Yeah, I'll keep you guys posted. I've missed out on meeting MG the last 2 times he was here, and again last weekend when I was there. I have work in Pune soon, so am planning to convert it to a working ride, sort of like a working lunch
Now that the One is singing, I can't wait to crunch down the kilometres.

Wonderful news there!! Now when can Phwoar and BumbleBee and all xBhpians in Bangalore meet?Originally posted by rossiter View PostAnd Phwoar is back. After almost 4 months.. the R1 is roaring again, with all cylinders firing. The engine feels a little tight, but I'm not sure if it's me or if it's the new valves and head combo.
I have to run the valves in, until they are seated properly, which means no shenanigans for the next 2k or so. It's been a long time coming, I don't have to repeat whatever's happened, but the end result has been positive. The work was carried out beautifully, despite it being long and way overdue. It is absolutely top notch.
I also love the new CF parts on Phwoar, and it adds a touch of stealth-ishness to the bike IMO. I'll get some photos in the morning and post up.
