    To make life more difficult

But seriously, aren't hands far more dexterous to be able to give better clutch control than the foot. Especially useful when riding through low traction conditions like slush.

I understand for a person who is physically handicapped and unable to operate the clutch with his hand for whatever reason, but for an able-bodied individual.

Your modifications have always been functional, getting something better than what is currently. Thus the question, how is a foot clutch better than a handlebar clutch. What gains?
Biking is not about what you have between your legs, its all about how well you use it!!!!!!!

the kind of control you will have with your left hand will never be matched by foot unless its a proper car.
      and why waste one control.

        I agree!
So for start I would try to run both hand clutch as well as foot clutch.
        Let's see what happens!

But I am planing to chop rear fender , make a custom swing arm and run a 225 or 195/45 (or 55) car tyre. My ticket to Dark side of biking! Also have made myself real nasty handle bars . no switches, no throttle no clutch on handle bars. Suicide clutch , foot throttle and switch panel below fuel tank. Suicide shifer . hopefully this winter will see some major changes.

A very long wait. But I think it will be worth it. Will be patiently watching this space for updates. Keep up the good work. All the best

Very expensive and complicated project. Much more than 1250 upgrade. So better planning required. Also need to spread cost into several months , can't buy everything in one go. Also next long office off is in Dec end. I hope it will be worth it!

                    • re: Dustom's Turbocharged Harley 1250

Spent some time this Sunday washing and polishing the bike. Bit of detailing.

I had used the chrome and shine polish from HD previously , but this time I also bought HD bare metal polish- ( for all bare aluminium parts)
And there are tonnes of them on Superlow. Triple trees , rocker covers, primary cover , machined aluminium wheels , cam chest cover , primary sprocket cover , rear sprocket.

It has been almost 30 months/30k km for my bike and since this is the first time I bought bare metal polish, these items were never polished before.

Here is before and after of triple tree. ( couldn't polish most of parts , too lazy )

                      Before.
                      After.

                      Before -

                      After

30k km, absolutely 0 leaks , I don't expect it to leak at all even in future .

If you ask me , only poor tuning leads to a leaking HD.

Trying a Hybrid , Gt15 compressor with a GT12 turbine. Everyone talks about Turbos , few get to look at them from inside
Good successful day , hard mounted the turbo. Much improved locations than stupid Yankees has been doing all this while. tomorrow some sensor trials , finishing up on turbo mounts.
Oil pressure lines and return line yet to be designed .
Than starts the most challenging aspect - the tuning!
