You should definitely get one. Investing in Arrow exhaust is definitely something every Street Triple owner should do. It's worth every penny. . After the warranty gets over, I might try Competition Werkes too. 2013 Triumph Street Triple Competition Werkes GP Slip On - YouTube

Werkes does sound great (more bass than Arrow) and extremely light weight but doesn't look all that good on TST, just my personal opinion and people may differ. Will have arrow installed next week if its available here.

Awesome Do you have the db-killers removed?

I got caught by a cop last weekend in the city for loud exhaust. Had to pay 300 without receipt. After paying the amount, I got home and checked via Smart Tools App, db levels were not even crossing 90db.

Db-Killer is still on, I am planning to ride with it for couple of more weeks and then decide on it.

What is the acceptable db levels in the city, any idea?

I was advised by the dealer here not to install Arrow before registration as RTO may raise some question around loudness.

Acceptable level is 95db. But, I measured via a smartphone app under a certain conditions, so it's not entirely reliable.

If you just want more sound, competition werkes is a good exhaust. I'll get it after I complete 2 years of warranty . 2.5k included both labour charges for assembling the exhaust and remapping.

With the stock exhaust and ECU map, I wasn't able to go past 218 kmph no matter how hard I tried but this arrow exhaust plus new remap is nice. . I think that's probably the fastest I'll ever go on a Street with normal fuel. (I was on Shell Super full tank when I did that speed). Wind blast is significant, being in tucked-in position definitely helps. You can't do 180+ kmph speeds for long periods of time but for 10-15 minutes at a stretch, it's fine.

Triumph recommends normal pump gas. I always used to fill normal gas. Do you think there is significant difference with Sell Super? Any difference on engine character ?

Yes I have my eyes on competition werkes or the two bros exhaust

But the triumph dealer said the warranty will be void if u install any other exhaust except arrow
And I didn't like arrows sound
So thinking what to do
I don't want to void the warranty

Have u fitted the fly screen ?
I hope it might help a bit in the wind blast
Even though not totally atleast a bit considering the STR a naked bike
GPM2 fromSC Project looks and interesting (+5HP, -3.4 Kg), If you fit the exaust and dont tinker with the mapping, I guess your warranty is safe. Just put the stock can back before claiming !

I am considering this Puig Windscreen over Triumph branded one.

No, there is no difference except price. I do it because that's the nearest gas station for me & everybody tells that Shell gas is superior.

SC Project is actually a very good option but I didn't want to mess up my warranty in any way. I used to follow "oldmantriple" on youtube & he was pretty happy with that upgrade.

Let me know about the windscreen. That'll be an interesting upgrade to do. I want to hear some first hand experience before I invest in that.

@TheArcher84, I know , I was sad for quite some time. By the way, I got the radiator fairing replaced and it's as shining as new now.

I've ordered Triumph Street Triple 675 Radiator Guard | Triumph Motorcycle Parts . It's the same one that hifisharu ordered for his Street. I ordered it a week ago.

So, I paid a visit to Keerthi showroom for fitting the radiator guard and washing my bike which got very dirty due to heavy rains 3 days ago.

As the bike was cleaned, got a surprise. 7100kms later, the rear tyre was end of life. So, that is how much a Rosso Corsa rear tyre lasts if you ride the bike like you stole it.

My bike usage pattern:
• Mostly weekend rides & 2-3 times a week of city riding.
• No burnouts.

• Just full throttle accelerations.
• Tyre spins on wet roads or uneven road surfaces during full throttle.
• 200+ kmph on most weekend rides :P

Replaced the rear with another Pirelli Doablo Rosso Corsa (2014 Jan manufactured which is super awesome). Got it from the Keerthi showroom itself. The tyre was crazy expensive at ₹21k but I'm happy to get the OEM tyre and not compromise on other tyres. Other option was to get the SuperCorsa SP from a dealer in Mumbai which will last a lot lesser for me (probably 4500kms or lesser) & it'll be a 2012 tyre. For the interested, link to the dealer. Street focussed tyres like Pilot Road 2 or Rosso 2 were not an option because I like to scrape the footpeg with the confidence that at least tyres won't give up before my skill.

Front has still 2.78mm (around 1mm lesser than stock) of tread left so it'll last a lot longer.

Apart from the tyre change, got the radiator guard fitted & added the "poor man's tail tidy". We just have to unscrew the tail and remove some useless plastic, cost is just the labour charges.

That oil is because of chain cleaning in case anyone is wondering.
