Even in bikes like Karizma/ZMR, R15/Fazer, CBR 150/250 headlights don't move with handle bar ! Not an issue at all.

hey Arvind, didn't do any big rides last 2 weekends, just speed runs to Kolar from my home. As it was a solo ride, no pics clicked. But, yes, this weekend I'm going to Chikmagalur with few friends.

I have an update though. Recently got my RC & it looked like this :| . WTF!

Have talked about the RC with Keerthi Triumph and they said they'll get it fixed by the agent.

Congratulations for the lovely motorcycle. It is a masterpiece.

I have a question regarding the wind blast. I have not ridden fast nakeds so I am not sure how much of an issue it is. How much more wind blast on this to lets say CBR250R at 150 Km/Hr. If you could explain in as much detail as possible that would be really appreciated. I am contemplating between the upcoming CBR650F, Street Triple and the Daytona. Daytona is a real stretch in terms of budget and plus non existent pillion comfort is a concern. Hence I am really trying to understand the only possible concern that is keeping me away from a naked and that is wind blast.

                Thank you.
                CHEERS!!

                  Thanks Rachit.

The only other bike that I've taken past 150 mark is Duke 390. It's also a naked but my friend had added a big-ass wind-screen. The experience was definitely better but honestly for that little more comfort which I got, I wouldn't trade it for the "raw" looks of Street Triple.

Speeds till 140kmph are ok. You can cruise in that speed and you'll be fine. Speeds more than that and you'll have tuck-in to the tank. Once you tuck in, it's all good and you will not have significant wind-blast. Point being, you won't be cruising past 150 kmph limit for prolonged periods of time so it's not so much of a deal.

More than the wind-screen, I found my riding gear to make the difference. When I bought the bike, I only had Astars textile jacket which was a little loose on the arms. That jacket used to vibrate like crazy on the arms at 150+ kmph speeds & was kind of a distraction. After buying an Astar leather jacket which is a race-fit, the experience is much much better. The speeds of even 200 kmph don't feel like a whole lot faster until I look at the speedo.

TLDR: I don't think wind-blast will be much of a big deal. If it's a big deal for you, get a after-market wind-screen.

Was just passing the signal and suddenly a guy with scooty in the right-most lane decided to take a left turn. I was on the left side of right lane.

                      And this happened!

Scratches on the fairing, cracked at one place & black paint chipped off of the side of radiator.

It wasn't my fault. My life sucks!

Damn! Such idiots are everywhere in Blore, nothing can be done about it apart from giving them an earful (If they dont escape that is!).

Sad to hear, but with no rules followed, such things happen

Get it wrapped in some other shade, that can hide the scratch...or max replace it under insurance...

                          get a radiator grill..

The guy on the scooty whimpered for a second or two as he touched the tarmac. He got some abrasion on the elbow & thankfully I didn't fall.

As this happened on a signal when the light just got green, speeds were pretty low. Thank god, the radiator is intact. I really need a radiator grill. The impact in the accident was pretty minor but as it's plastic, it cracked pretty easily.

Always put the radiator grill, because radiator is prone to stones and other sharp objects and the grill will prevent it.

Look for aftermarkets and order it. You dont wish to be stranded with a leaking situation and that can cause engine damage.
