    Nice piece of info there, I didnt know about heat patching. And so Madhu Tyres do have mushroom patch. Did you check if we could buy it and get it fixed elsewhere?

      Yes, they do mushroom patching but not heat patching. I didn't ask about buying the mushroom plug but why would you want that? Putting a mushroom plug requires specific tools and you can't do it yourself anyway.

        If I have the plugs, I will save the hassle of getting the tyre removed from the rim and then taking the tyre to Madhus to fix it and then again taking it back to SVC, Instead I can directly give the plugs to SVC guys.

          I really doubt if the SVC will do the mushroom plugging for you. But, still we can try that.

            [MENTION=51893]ever[/MENTION]yone: I'm using Tyre Protector on my bike, and according to the manufacturer, this is superior to Slime, as it doesn't settle at the bottom. I've tested the tires upto 180kmph, and have found no adverse effects on stability or handling. I had used it extensively on my CBR250R, nearly 10000 kms and never faced any issue. All the micro punctures which were draining the tire over long periods of time were fixed and even prolonged periods of letting the bike sit idle didn't have any effect on the handling

            In any case, the tire protector/slime is for fixing minor punctures, it cannot protect you from sidewall punctures and large slashes in the tire. For such major damages, it's best to change the tire or get the hot patch done

                  You can get it done at X-Torque or Riding DNA. The cost depends on the amount they put in the tyre.

                    And you were right "shadyabhi" in one of your posts you mentioned that the bug eyes dont look as bad as they look in the pic... they look amazing in front but not appealing in the pics (in my opinion i.e.)

                      I read your comments on Sharath's review that you did a test ride today. They look absolutely awesome to me. It's a mature taste I would say. I hope you rode it in high RPMs because that's when it all gets really crazy.

                        Hey Abhi :-) no dude I missed riding at very high rpms. Too much traffic, just the residency road section, beside the fly over, I could go to higher rpms and this was for a couple of seconds after which the traffic had me hit the brakes...
                        Everything about the bike is awesome! I tried pillion during the test ride and it was pleasantly comfortable for him too...

                          I test rode the Triumph Street Triple a while back and can still remember the ride like it was just this morning. The bike is such a hoot to ride and also makes so much sense for the Indian roads.

                          I hope I'll be able to purchase it soon. Till then, will be glued to your thread to keep reading about the real life scenario of the bike.
