He had been using Speed 97 earlier, but for the trip we took, he could'nt get the 97 octane fuel. So I guess he's using Xtra premium only.
^Originally posted by ken cool View PostYes. Old Fox and I tried this experiment out over a period of time on several bikes and it turned out fine. And XtraPremium is 91. Everything else is 87.5. But the lower Octane fuels cannot be kept long time in the tank, even for 3-4 days. In that case, it starts to knock.
Bingo. The trip was fine, but now thats what is causing the knocking....
@ Fireblah- hey, the same problem? When is your 1st service due anyways? You get the point?? :D

Does the 'everything else' include speed, power or is it the normal unleaded fuel??

i dont understand the reason for honda keeping such difference in price for the blade in delhi and mumbai
how silly!!!
infact anyone aware of the delhi price
will buy from delhi with a temporary number
get it transported here
and get a permanent number
still he would save money..........Hope is a good thing ,

Buddy the difference of prices in the two cities is because of different State taxes..!! You wouldnt gain anything until and unless you register ( not the temporary registration) the bike in Delhi itself...!!Originally posted by outworldly maniac View Posti dont understand the reason for honda keeping such difference in price for the blade in delhi and mumbai

I guess, the owner , even if he purchases at Delhi, should re-register or atleast pay the road tax for the state in which he plans to live.Originally posted by outworldly maniac View Posti dont understand the reason for honda keeping such difference in price for the blade in delhi and mumbai

So , there isnt any difference as such. The road tax WILL make up for the difference! When everything comes ur way, u r in the wrong way ;)
