CDI is a better option considering it is no maintenance and better performer. You can check rddreams.com they have the best kit for the RD. but ensure you do not end up putting a RX or shogun kit. some even put scooty pep. i used a RX kit on one of my bikes and the engine was screwed up. visit www.rddreams.com for more detailsComment

i bought the bike which i was talking about in 8k .got the entire engine work done .
i got new piston (tkr japan) size 75 , got new boring in the cylider , oil seals , sprokets ,points condendencer ,
rest every thing is same . gear box was in good condition even the silencers .
right now i cant drive the bike over 40kmph as suggested by the mechanic for rousing of the engine
but i think that the bike was a better deal

i am not much into rd. I have an yezdi. I recently rode an rd ... felt the same... neck pulling back.. i was thinking of buying one after since...rd is all abt performance... correct me if i am wrong. OK let me get to the point... actually i have a very little budget, and i am looking for an rd (lt or ht). i am really in need of an RD. my budget is abt 25k. i am from kerala. all i want is the bike to be in running condition, book paper current... dont give muxh abt orginality... I hope this helps...well if u get THE rd, u gotta take gud care of it too..sometimes works out to be a headache too..i have a number of a guy in noida who is supposed to be the best in business for rd care..

Lol! anything from 12-18 for the HTs, even 20-22, and 16-18 to 24-26 even for the LTs.
