^^^ Stick to stock; gives peace of mind, unless you leave everything to your mechanic. BPR7HS is fine, not sure how much of help can an Iridum plug do on a stock.

Why are u not using the Oil Pump?!!!!

That is the best way of ensuring the engine gets the right mix of oil at any rpm ... 1 litre of oil should last you 1000 km if the pump is set correctly.

Don't add more 2t to the oil!!! When you add more 2t oil to the petrol you actually lean out the mixture and leaning will take toll on the engine and the heat generated can glaze up the cylinder walls. Essentially when you add more 2t you need to mess with the jetting as well to make up for the "leaning" that's what they used to do back in the 70s when almost every 2s motorcycle had premix. Stick with the autolube pump and the stock jetting and make sure your 2t oil pump is working properly and is spewing out the required amount of oil.

Yes i do have a side tank. My mechanic told me that the pump was blocked and he did some work in it.. Says its fine now, but still recommended me to use the premix...

@OP Why don't you get a new oil pump? Repairing it is crap trust me I've been there. New pump will cost you less than 2k INR but a new top end will cost you even more think about it!!!

                  Hey guys,
My mechanic told me that you would not get a new pump in the market(am not sure bout that) and told me that if i have to get it replaced, he would have to scout for a used one(not sure what condition that would be in)... Yes i do have a side pump, but, not actually using it, since i am still not sure it works properly(i have this tendency of not completely believing my mech.. ).

Anyway for me to check myself if the oil from side tank is being used, cause, its after a lot of struggle i got this bike and dont want to mess it up believing the sidetank/pump..

Couldnt manage the pic of the spark plug(Actuallly i ve lost my plug spanner, realized after turning my toolkit inside out... need to get one...) Will post a pic of the spark plug ASAP.

Also noticed, the bike jerking when im in the 4th gear and the accelerator is fully off, hope you guys get what i mean. Like im not raising the accl, the bike is in 4th gear and running, i bring down the accl completely and can feel the bike jerking and not smoothly running.. Any idea......??????

P.S : Please bear with my non technical language...

^ What your mechanic said is not completely true. Try some treasure hunt in the market of your locality. Btw, which city you belong to?

@OP I'd agree with the availability of the genuine pump it was not available in my city either but luckily Arun (BigBore) got me hooked see if you can get one of the members to source it for ya. Oh and OP if you are running it on a LOT of 2t oil like you are hehehe you are still gonna mess it up pretty bad. One more thing your mechanic is an idiot take matters into your own hands replacing and adjusting the pump isn't that hard at all I did mine in less than 30 mins. One last thing if your RX is spooging it is a sign of improper combustion toodle hoooooo!!!

Fully Off - does this mean when the throttle is closed (no acceleration)? If that's the case, then your Rx is running rich. Check the color of plug & it should be tard black.

Fully Off - does this mean when the throttle is opened (full acceleration)? If that's the case AND struggling pickup, then there's fuel struggling to enter the cylinder. Clean the carb & jet & you'll be fine. In addition check the size of jets on your ride; IIRC, your's is 135 4 Speed, then, you should've 165 MJ & 17.5 PJ.

What's your consumption? Are you getting 35+ during regular rides?

Well, if you want to experiment, remove the carbs, check the jet sizes, esp the main. If its more than 165, then buy a 165 main jet & plonk it.

If not, IMO, this issue should also happen at other gears too. Check if it happens on all gears or only at 4?

@Raghu - You might also need to tune the air screw. I believe this jerk could be the result of AFR ratio.
