This build is taking as much time as it did for Shahjahan to build TajMahal.

Hopefully all this should add up to a durable, reliable two-stroker with good low end torque and 38-40kmpl consistently. But then, let it come out of the ICU first

    Hi Nitin,

for your long wait and patience.. your bike have come out excellent.

Excellent Job, feeling jealous that you own two neat bikes

kept the old oil level indicator when you changed the 2T oil tank?
I think the oil level indicator available now is a different one, not the one with needle...

why you have gone for non RX side signal lights?, I think its Crux's lights...
Oil Gauge with needle is looong gone. It is not at all available anywhere and if I am right 135s never came one from the factory itself. My 100 has though. Indicators, I am told this is stock for this model of 135. Initially even I had thought these are from different bike. So went ahead with these to have some variation

Thanks Vijay. I am hoping it runs trouble free- The wait has been frustrating to say the least.

2T oil indicator came only along with RX100. For later models it was just plain window showing the oil level.
Those turn signal sets are original model and that came from factory. Yes, it is somewhat does not go well withthe rx look.

            Update

            SDC10904.AVI - YouTube

There is noise from the bore, currently attributed to liberal clearances. This expectation was set right from the beginning by the technician.

Delivery tomorrow. Will post all factual information tommorrow.

One of my fav angles. Petrol filter needs to be installed.

Observe the black stickering in the area where fuel tank meets the seat. This has come stock with the tank. Thoughtful of the company.

            Pending works:-

            1. Install new muffler (inner core/flute)
            2. Install petrol filter
            3. Install headlight rim
            4. Install petrol tank cap
            5. Test ride and carb tuning
            6. Physical delivery.

Tomorrow step 6 is supposed to be complete. Looking at the progress, I think it should be possible.

More details in the ensuing posts.

Apparently better quality rims from a company called Union, which is OEM to Yamaha Thailand.

                More details are here-products_rims

1350 is the cost of the rims.

Thanks. And did you mean 1350 per rim or for the set (2)?

I dunno what price and brand the rims you guys are getting there but we get 'Mandap' O.E rims a set for almost 1100/- here.
ofc. Union are kown for their quality. worth spending a bit more on them.

^Another question:- Do they(Union Cycle Co.,) also make spokes? Or can we use the compatible Indian make?

Royal Enfield spokes are a direct fit on RX and they are sturdy as hell

not sure whether it is a direct fit but it can be done provided you know an experienced wheel maker , bullet spokes are of a different class compared to everything else , i think it will need minor boring of the holes in the hub and rim

Yes of course but it doesn't compromise the integrity of the rim in any way.
