            Bike price was not a matter since I got it from my BIL. He was not at all ready to accept the amount from me.
            Transfered 25k to his acc even without informing him. That was the offer he got from some of the local people.

            And for the remake, think I have spent around 20k. Was able to limit it that much since I did'nt go for the paint job and major engine works. Applied a very good polish for a glow on painted parts. Don't have the exact figures, since I did'nt kept a note on the amount spent.

            Do post your ques if you need any help or info.

              I'm from Kochi but I have a friend in Piravom who has an 86 model RX100 with many 'Made in Japan' parts. He's too possessive of his bike. I too own an 91 RX100 & 99 RX135.

              Unfortunately both of us are out of country.

              My friend's bike is used by his brother and my bikes are lying totally unused. I really feel sorry for them.

              I read through your entire thread that reminded me of the restorations I did for my bikes. I miss those wonderful days of the sweet tone of their engines and smell of 2T oil.

              BTW, where do you stay in Piravom?

                Im staying near to Piravom Govt Hospital. And I think I have seen KEK RX few times heading towards Moovattupuzha road. Do conct me once you reach Gods Own Country.

                And regarding your bikes, don't wait much, it will be too late. Get them restored. Now it is possible to get OE spares.

                  Sanjith, both the bikes are fully restored but now left unused. May be I can share the pictures.

                        I think RX100 is with the company paint.Now it is very very difficult to get the exact Red shade if we are going for re-painting.Thanks for sharing them. I think they are with the full energy and spirit since they are not much used.

                                Hi friends, I am searching chassis for my my rx 100 (1995), I am based near Calicut, kerala. Could not find in shops (tried almost all shops in calicut) Any help ?
