          • @Sanjith - Most of the time I check this forum at office, would kindly request you to upload the pic via tinypic and post the embedded link on the thread. If this is not possible, anxiety would kill me till I reach home.

This one is a 4 pin rectifier. The shop guy told me like 2 pin RR unit is not available now..
and the mechanic can make it fit into the bike..

Is there any issues with 4 pin RR unit regarding the connecting job?

                    • the older rr units had 3 pins not 2 , also if possible get a new wiring kit fitting this will need splicing of wires

Lots of RX owners are unaware of it, my bike had a Rectifier when I had converted it to 12V about 7 years back but last month when I disassembled the bike for re-painting and restoration it was found that the rectifier is missing...

OT: My bike was in classic look until last year, I'm going in for a face-lift and engine conditioning this time. The bike should be ready by Feb end.

                          • The later RX100s which came factory fitted with a 12v battery does that have a rectifier?

the simplest and cheapest way to convert an rx to 12v involves using a rectifier unit from the kb100 ,and splicing of a few wires (for a kb rectifier and regulator are two entirely seperate units) most of the mechs dont bother to put in the regulator, biker haris is running on one

                              • Gone for upgrading light

Recently I have gone upgrading my RX's light into 60/55W

                                1. Coil Rewinding
                                2. Magnet charging
                                3. KB100 Rectifier
                                4. DCM Toyota's Headlight set with park light
                                5. Philips Premium 60/55W H4 bulb
                                6. Philips parklight bulb
                                7. Removed Regulator, and gave direct connection

Coil rewinding and magnet charging is done by a famous and expert person in Cochin. I can share his contact details if anybody in need for the same.

I will post the snaps and expenses in detail in my next post...

Changed the full bike electrical wiring with new one since the wiring was not in that much good condition.

Hpe I will receive the bike by coming Monday or Tuesday..
