If the quality is poor, then I would think of Sanjith's option of non OE and he says the quality is decent.

a bigger picture

the box contains around 2 or more pieces and check out the mfg date, also came with all the brackets and mounting molts and the bill

ps; may the sky fall on the head of the fellow who increases prices like this

I'm not able to see the pic on the link provided, looks like it is waiting for admin to approve.
If the piece is bought from recognized or authorized spares dealer, would not ask further questions. Even otherwise, if the chrome job is decent, would suffice.

This is the same butterfly guard I found @ Cochin during my bike's restoration.
But, that time me got a feeling like its a little bit smaller when compared to the OE ones fitted with some RXs. So when I asked the shopkeeper, he also told me like, ' yes its a little bit smaller and this is the only size available now'. So me went for the bigger ones non-OE..still Im in confusion old ones where bigger in sizeeee???

any experts here can put an end to my

??

But IMO now its better to go for OE ones, the same posted by Sarin.

yup you are right the first ones were bigger , saw the ad of the old rx at the shop , it was indeed bigger though not by much also it was waaaay better finished

seems like RX spare's price is going 'up up and the way'...
Few days before me bought turn indicator for my RX100 and the price @ YASS is Rs 182/- now. Some 4 months back it was 150/- only...
